We are a good example. I give us about 25 years before everybody wakes up enough to realize we are actually causing our own extinction through unsustainable practices. Of course by then it will be to late.

Our very technology and everything humans have used to get to our current state today comes From ET's, the very ones who have enslaved as their own an entire race for their benefit - they work behind the shadows and influence, manipulate & even create all situations today; their entire plan, dominance & benefit would be destroyed if we knew of not their existence, but their role in OUR existence. The 'powers that be' are merely hybrids of these beings, and their higher ups are who we'll never see or know. They've taken over a long, long time ago - Earth's humanity and global economy being their 'brain child', their creation, their masterpiece. They manipulate the reality we experience to benefit them, to keep us tuned into their broadcast, asleep, hypnotized and unaware, is how they do it. They use the moon (having put it there) to project, enhance, & control their desired frequency we experience and alter-reality to the human population, Saturn being the source. The mega computer. That's why saturnalia is so prevalent throughout human history, look at the Saturn worship and logos today, there are literally thousands : Nike, DirecTV, Dish, capital one, Internet Explorer, Newport cigarettes, AAA, etc. (Keep an eye out through the day, there are too many to count) Their ultimate goal is a one world government with a microchipped population: A world currency, army, banking system, religious system, etc. As long as we don't know of their role in our lives, they will continue to have control. I don't know if extraterrestrials would be able to make direct physical contact because of the risk of diseases. Even the common cold to them would be worse that ebola. Imagine what alien germs they could be carrying.

OP, maybe Earth is one of several planets where they watch Mankind. With this one being a social experiment gone wrong, or going wrong. Perhaps on there other experimental planets a Humankind is flourishing with no wars and fighting because they taken away the religious aspects e.t.c that has made this Planet a failed experiment.

Which is something I never did. I gave a hypothetical, which is actual the only possible evidence based opinion due to the evidence being a very small sample with zero indication of life elsewhere. This of course in no way precludes life elsewhere, there is simply literally zero evidence of it. Keep living in your little tiny box. No it would just take forever to reach us (as in it would not have reached us yet) and would be limited to a very small timeframe as it's unlikely we will continue to use radio communications once we have more advanced methods. So not finding radio signals really is not surprising even in a well populated universe.
