I think in this time of Heightened issues from abroad and at home it is not unrealistic for an escort to be required. And as for over there.. it is a perpetual war zone, So our troops are at risk for their lives already. no

What i want to know is why do we bring these people over here? Why are we bothering to even train them? Seriously didn't like 20,000 us trained Iraqis surrender to like 100 ISIS? Either we really suck and training, or they aren't worth our time. Something about this just isn't right either. Sounds like one of those movies where they are already dead, and in freezers, and will be only taken out to be planted at the scene of a future bombing similar to 9/11

maybe in the hope that we can establish our version of democracy and great things will grow,

the problem is they keep killing us , turning on us, stealing our equipment, i suppose we only have ourselves to blame .. but whats the way forward? walk out and let the tribes rule by fear again..

Maybe I didn't state the obvious as clearly, so allow me to clarify:

We train these foreign military officers so that they can take the training back home and operate effectively in their countries. If we ever want to be able to pull out of these nations, we need to make sure they are able to handle things themselves. Hence, we bring some of them here to train.

Yeah just like we have trained many dictators and warlords lol. This crap needs to stop. If they want to train them, they can most certainly do it out of this country. They need to definitely stop letting them off base without armed guards if they want to see how cool the U.S. is and how we are not the Great Satan.
