It's called "green on blue" violence and more then 75% of the cases of it have occurred AFTER we declared we would be pulling out of Afghanistan.

One of the leading theories is the afghan army sildiers are being opportunist attempting to regain "street cred" with the local "big stick carriers" if we are going to be pulling out.

This would be a pretty maddening problem IMO.

They'll probably end up feeling guilty and experience a bit of self-loathing, especially when they get back home. Let's hope that, instead of self reflection, they don't blame the Great Satan and turn that hatred toward our troops stationed there.

Good call to whoever okayed this field trip to Babylon. *rolls eyes*.

Thanx for stating the obvious Gatorboy, maybe i should have been a little more specific than Afghani, why the hell would you allow foreign muslim military into the US?

Maybe I didn't state the obvious as clearly, so allow me to clarify:

We train these foreign military officers so that they can take the training back home and operate effectively in their countries. If we ever want to be able to pull out of these nations, we need to make sure they are able to handle things themselves. Hence, we bring some of them here to train.

But go ahead and continue to not only be rude to people providing information on these forums, but also paint a broad-stroke of anyone that is a Muslim being dangerous in the military. I hope being as condescending as you are makes you feel just a bit better, perhaps it makes up for your lack of knowledge on the subject.

interesting indeed, yes other articles reporting this now , looks like they had a plan.

I am sure now no matter which way it could have gone, they will protest at seeking a better life, glad they found them.

The question that keeps coming into my mind recently is who is our government working for, the US citizen or foreign countries. Certainly doesn't look like the US citizen given the last few years. We been sold out.

In a separate incident recently some visiting Afghani police also went missing. I think these are probes to test our security.

This clearly shows the incompetence of the military that allowed them to come here and leave un-escorted. I find that very disturbing in this time of war and terrorism uprising.

Looks like they may have had some help getting across the border.

Simply the Fastest Border Crossing in the Niagara Region.

Don't they know these tables will be used by terrorists?

Would you expect that US personnel be escorted by Afghani's when on leave in Afghanistan?

I think in this time of Heightened issues from abroad and at home it is not unrealistic for an escort to be required. And as for over there.. it is a perpetual war zone, So our troops are at risk for their lives already. no

Are you saying that US troops shouldn't need an escort?
