Hello... my name is Stephen... I aspired to be a writer when I was a young man but then I grew up... and have now become a perpetual young man...

Hey Stephen - never give up your dream of writing. Sometimes you just have to write to get things out - I write my dreams and create novels. Just for my own sanity. It takes me to a whole other place and can become a whole other reality - one of your own making. You gotta do what that creative bone is eating away inside of you wants you to do.

I noticed you have a "writer" status... I will have to check out the "writer" section, if there is one (some have alluded to this already)... I used to hold aspirations of becoming a serious writer... literature has always been my unrequited love... but as I said above, I left that dream far behind a long time ago...

Thank you for you kind encouragement and response, and your warm welcome... and ccseagull, although I used to hold aspirations of becoming a serious writer, I have never stopped writing... just gave up trying to make a full time living at it... I measure my authorship today in pounds and reams (of paper) probably destined for the trash after I'm gone, but no matter...

My muse took another path long ago and luckily, has fully sustained my desire to create...
