This could happen in any city in America.

Sadly, people feel pushed, boxed in, unheard, marginalized and broke ...and, when they look to the future, they see more of the same.

And they look at what's happening in Ferguson and they say - not my child, not my community. ..enough.

One unit just called in to respond to the Del Market area (multiple shots fired, 100 some people fighting and more reported in that area) and dispatch told them 'negative, units have been falling back from that area'.

Some element has infiltrated the Ferguson protesters and is using the civic unrest to effect a crisis on a larger scale.

Wonder if these are government plants to escalate.

It's pathetically obvious. I would urge protesters and journalist on scene to heed that. It needs rigorous examination.

with out the gun grab portion, i still wouldn't say that him coming at the cop calls for gun shots, but sadly the courts don't agree.

It also does not rule out him just standing there and not charging.

Oh.. Dandy... Dispatch reports the Hospital is now requesting additional units as people are showing up in trail of gunshot victims arriving as walk-ins and getting rowdy.

(sigh).....

Hospitals ought to be a DMZ. Really.. Can't ONE place in society be respected that way? Just one...it isn't asking much. Even wars usually respect that one.

We have all discussed why the outcome of the police response is important. I just don't think the average person understands what's at stake.
