I think it more honour to put the past behind and work together for the benefit of both country's peacefully existence and friendship.

THAT is not correct, it is by NO MEANS easy to deal with SOME new things...music comes to mind... Both sides poured their souls into WWII. I would like to hope all of our enemies would do as Japan has done.I would BE MORE THAN GLAD to see the Islamic mosque next door to my church. THAT is worth our deaths alone. I do understand what you mean as Dad was a Command Pilot in the Bomber training command. But once a peace is achieved and the cultures have become so familiar to one another such a though might be seen as vulgar and isolationist.
