Here in SW Colorado were not just getting rain, we're under a "Special Weather Alert"

THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH WEDNESDAY AS DEEP MONSOONAL MOISTURE SPREADS OVER THE AREA. THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL IS EXPECTED OVER SOUTHEAST UTAH AND SOUTHWEST COLORADO.
THE AREA. STORMS WILL BE SLOW MOVING SO LOCALIZED FLOODING WILL BE POSSIBLE. NORMALLY DRY WASHES AND CREEK BEDS COULD FLOW AND CREATE RUNNING WATER ACROSS LOW-LYING ROADS. LOCALIZED DEBRIS FLOWS OR FALLING ROCKS

Web Cam Shows some really juicy clouds coming in

What to do what to do what to do on a rainy day ?????

Maybe get a bottle of wine, put on a chick-flick and spend some snuggle time with the wife?
maybe I'll catch up on my reading, I still have a number of books to catch up on...
Hey I could stand on my roof facing the tempest and yell out my challenge to the storm gods!
then there's always getting under a blanket with my daughters and a flashlight, telling ghost stories...

Well then... what do you like to do on a rainy day?

I like to listen to Eddie Rabbit:

I read a lot so that's what I'd probably be doing.

Sleep. It seems it is a good way to catch up on sleep. The raindrops have a tranquil effect when they hit the roof of the house.

Yeah but she's at work right now...

On the other hand, running threw the hospital neekies looking for my wife to chase, could make for an interesting afternoon...

I have more rainy day projects, because I tend to let everything go on sunny days.

Read, crochet, can, clean.

But I don't think anything beats dogmeats suggestion.
love being chased

So what do you like to do on a rainy day?

Step 1. Put on a insulated flannel and sweat pants.
Step 2. Grab a book, coffee and cigarettes.
Step 3. Head onto the back porch, read and watch the dogs play in said puddles.
Step 4. Giggle and enjoy!
Almost an ideal day, especially if I have something good baking and the smell of a roaring fireplace is in the air.

Just listen to the rain. Sit and watch the rain and listen to it.
Read a book or watch a movie ... VIncent Price movies are the best.
Play on the internet.
