I'm starting with the OP so I don't know if anyone has said it already, but I'm sure it has ..... but good luck driving to church in your all electric car (not too many of those being produced yet), or failing that in your horse drawn buggy or turning off the power that comes into your house from coal burning plants, roasting in your bed on a hot summers night, etc.

btw, when are the solar panels being delivered to and installed in the church?

I'm beginning to think people aren't actually reading the OP

After this announcement they all drove away in a big cloud of smoke produced by the cheapest fuel they can obtain.

I keep going back to the op and I have srious questions about the number of christians the wcc claims to represent. I have been watching the wcc for decades now and at first no protestant church or representative was ever invited or even allowed. I concluded the wcc was an off shoot of theosophy and share international. They are luciferians and NOT Christian.

So from what I'm reading, these churches are no longer going to invest in fossil fuels. but at the same time they are still willing to use these fossil fuels, and by using them means they are still investing into them, but not making big money in return. Don't make any sense dose it?!

Oh by the way, cutting down a forest is not a sin (no where in the bible does it say that).

Ps. Stop using fossil fuels is the only way to fix the problem. But we all know that will never happen.

Just my 2 cents input. Keeps the change.

It has been demonstrated that we have the technology and resources to make the deserts bloom; desalinate unlimited fresh water; feed everyone on the planet a healthy diet; provide relatively luxurious living spaces . . . for several times the current global population.

BTW,

Is worth checking out in terms of housing folks well in relatively small footprint spaces.

YES!!! It is totally doable.

I'll check out your site within the next few hours.

All of the 150 different member church organizations are not Christians?

Oh, by the way, yes, it is. We need forests.
I don't care what the Bible says.

I agree with you (about the stopping part). I think it might happen (that we stop), though.

Are they copper cents?

imho, The WCC folks are called by most Pentecostal/Charismatic/Evangelical congregations "nominal Christians."

And, there are documents around which purport to show that the oligarchy DID deliberately, early on, infiltrate and take control of those denominations rather successfully.

Certainly they are usually loathe--particularly at or from headquarters--to spew more than a very watered down "social Gospel."

They tend to deplore the miraculous in the Bible and certainly shy away from any claims of the supernatural in our era.

They rather neuter the Bible, imho.

Funny that the Obama admin is trying to destroy fossil fuel yet won't release the free energy they have in black projects.

Three-Quarters of a BILLION people are affiliated with just 345 churches? WOW. And someone wrote that Christianity has become an extremely small religion on this planet. Doesn't appear so.

Are there alternatives to hydrocarbon energy economy ? Of course, but the path needed to accomplish these changes will not manifest through the market system protocols required since new solutions can only be implemented through the profit mechanism. People are not investing in renewable energies because there is no money in it in both long and short term and the commitment needed to make it happen can only occur at a severe financial loss. Hence, there is no monetary incentive and in this system, if there is no monetary incentive, things do not happen

its called a debt system. Anything affiliated to the federal reserve and the bis and imf is in a debt system using fiat currency. This syphons money from all layers and settles at the top. So, the top either just adds more money into the system to pay for it or the bottom layers take back what was taken from them and fund it all with the money stolen from them. But there is no profit in a debt system designed to never be paid back.

World Council of Churches is NWO.
However, those churches still do use fossil fuels.
That's not going to stop.

I am very sure this is true, but what about everything else? The people already want to fish every fish and kill every "game" animal, they pollute their own drinking water, and species are going extinct at an ever increasing rate. The forests are disappearing as are all the jungles. We did for minerals and oil at increasing rates, destroying the planet in the process.
They want more and more stuff..

So what would be left, just many many humans.

And here was i thinking organised religion was all just a waste of time.

And i was wrong, if this news is anything to go by.

The solution to fossil fuels, and so all the bleating on about the climate for the last 20 years, is SO simple it's a crying shame and frankly criminal it hasn't been done as yet while still raking in the ever increasing profits on burning the stuff.

Solar and wind...on an individual and per home basis.

Not exactly theorhetical particle physics is it!

4 Kwh worth of solar, with a small roof mounted back up wind turbine of around 400wh is perfectly doable, cheap and would easily fit on the average home roof.

This woulod be all the energy we would require, and not one drop of oil, nor a single chunk of coal, nor a cubic cm of gas would need to be burnt to power our homes for the next 15 - 30 years.

The Kyoto targets of 20% reduction would be exceeded by at least 40% and the world would be able to breathe easily again.

I hope they dump all of their stocks in one fell swoop and cripple the energy cartels.

It's been hard not to think that....
but yes, this made me feel better about it.

Quite!

I hope so, too!

One other thing that has occurred to me is that if there really is an orchestrated "NWO", and the WCC is part of it - this gesture does not indicate they actually want to depopulate, destroy, or whatever. I am no fan of globalization; not at all. I do think it has reduced the quality of life for many. But maybe that is just "growing pains"... ???

I don't know.
I'm so sick and tired of the doom-porn stuff; why on earth would any small crowd want to destroy their labor force? To what end??

While I doubt anyone with a brain can deny climate change, many will still argue what, if any, cause man has on it, but that doesn't really matter. If there is a big enough push for an alternative fuel that will work, then I am all for it, as long as it's cleaner than what we have now.

Now all you have to do it get all the filthy rich folks to understand their cash crop may go away. (oil)
