Not possible, as long as there is an incentive for them to come here they will keep coming by unsustainable amounts.

Catching and sending back illegals is far more difficult than going after the legal registered business owners who hire them.

In addition you send one back, they will come back again with 2 more amigos. Its not uncommon for an illegal to be caught deported than for them to cross the border again. The Mexican gov't doesn't care or do anything with the deported illegals, so they keep trying and coming back as long as the incentive is there for them.

Taking away the incentive is the only sustainable method to keep them from coming.

The problem fixes itself. You crack down on the employers the illegals have no incentive to come or be here. They will go back home by themselves.

my philosophy about employees is that, you don't give them an opportunity to steal.

What is so hard for you to grasp?

Why would the majority illegals come here if they can't get a job , get medical treatment , drive, or get housing? What would be their incentive? Note I'm not saying to fully walk away from securing the border but doing that without going after the business owner is worthless.

The Canadian border is less secure than the Mexican border yet we don't have as big trouble with the Canadians.

Why? because for the most part its not an incentive for the majority of Canadians to come here. They don't need to come here to better their lives by getting jobs in the US. Their country allows them to provide for their family.

Hence, their is no incentive for Canadians to come here and risk being criminals,death or being caught illegally.

The majority of Mexicans that risk their live are coming to America to have a better standard of living . Take that away and they will not come and risk their life for it.

Pretty simple really, but it appears that you picked a side and have an agenda.

I preferred the pre-80's temporary worker programs you had before, before realizing you had to provide legitimate workers with standard pay, benefits, and working conditions. Leaving the back door open so that your workers could go in, get the job done, and never achieve legitimacy is not what I would have proposed, no.

There you go with that 'saucer of milk' proposal again. Here in Mexico (or did you not notice where I am from?) people cannot receive government benefits or take a job with a legitimate employer unless they are bonafide citizens or have the proper immigrations status. I think the US could do the same, if it wanted to. But now that you have done away with legitimate immigrations opportunities for the unskilled labor that is desired there, and since Ronnie Reagan set out that first saucer of amnesty on the back porch it appears you now have a much bigger problem than you started with. In fact, before that time I really don't recall it being a problem at all.

Except for all the loopholes in the laws that prevent him from just turning every single person away.
The people coming across know those loop holes and take advantage of them.
Want that to change? Congress needs to actually do something and get a bill in front of him, no refuse to vote on the reform bills.

What if we stop giving them free food, medical, schooling, plane rides, housing, welfare checks, and amnesty.
Also why do we allow them to take away America citizens jobs at a time when there are so many people are out of work?

It is a waste of time because the process is so drawn out that his term will be long over and the 2016 elections in the bag before any action could or would be taken.
