Polar ice caps have melted and expanded throughout history.

My OP is dealing with the fact that the polar ice caps Have indeed melted in the past, and apparently reformed. And I have learned the hard way, not to attempt to draw any logical conclusions based solely on historical facts. I am just bringing this information to others, as I recently had this question and found the answer.

Some say it's all melting, and some say it's growing. Either way, there is nothing I can do but sit back with a beer and watch it all, so that is what I am doing. Have one if you like, they're cold.
