Thanks Night Star. I don't want to change it - I just noticed that the hand looked big. I'm actually quite chuffed as I did it myself, although it wasn't as difficult as I thought it was going to be.

Nope not my own wisdom. I don't know who the author of it is.

The hand on your nice avatar just looks big because of the angle of the pic. I think it looks just fine.

Oh, I just noticed the links to your writing. I so look forward to getting to read them. I will save that for later though. So busy bopping between the computer and doing things around the house. Also a lot on my mind today. I want to save it for when I can sit and really enjoy reading it. I know I won't be disappointed.

I really like that saying. One of my favorite things is to be out in the boat on the lake and hear nothing but nature. It's a time where I do most of my best thinking. Being out on the ice is so nice too. Quiet and beautiful.

I am sorry you are having to go thru what you are going thru. Why things happen to us? Who knows. I say to myself, God has a reason for this happening. One day at a time. Accept the things you can not change, and change the things you can.

I know I told you this before, I love your signature. It really says alot about you. You are a fighter and you are so strong in ways that others haven't a clue.

My first thought along these lines is some good old Baileys Irish Cream whiskey in my cup of Joe!

While it doesn't make me 7 years old again, it does make me feel better!

Everything is done...WooHoo! Just woke from my much needed nap. After my procedure My Bud and I, went to the local bar and grill and opened the place up for a celebratory French Dip and a beer for breakfast.

Hey...I deserved it! I'd been up over 36 hours!

Mmm Baileys. My favourite. Nice on its own or in a coffee.

Home made Baileys.
3 Mars Bars
1/2 bottle of Brandy or Whisky or Vodka or your fave spirit.
1 x small pot (200ml) cream

melt the mars bars over a bain marie or in the microwave.
SLOWLY add and mix in..the cream and the alcohol & stir.

Leave to cool...

Oh YEAH!

You be doing it wrong - slowly stir over the oven (same way hot cider is done...speaking of which...).

I'm a bit mixed about the weather, while I do like having a bit of snow, I am enjoying the warmer temps that we got (Sunday was amazing; I actually rolled down the windows when driving).

How's everyone doing?

Doing fine thanks, now that I have my coffee

The kids desperately want it to snow. I vote for our "day" of snow to fall on the last or first day of school because if it was in the holidays you won't get that same naughty feeling of being off work/school. That or on Christmas eve - now wouldn't that be great! Haven't had one for those for a long time.

Having said that, we're supposed to be having the hottest winter on record right now (Its not where I am because I'm still cold). If the weather wants to smash the records to smithereens and we can have it hot enough for t-shirts, well I'm all for it plus it will save money on the heating.
