I have a few but should probably get more.
My basic one is 4 raw eggs, milk,a touch of vanilla and some cinnamon.

Next one is fruit and ice with milk.

Next is a simple one, whey powder with bananas and milk with some fresh mint.

Another good way to use the blender is for making broccoli soup.
Boil the broccoli for 5 minutes, toss it into a blender and add some of the water for consistancy.
Put back in the pot and add half a cup of cream and what spices you might want in it.

I really don't have many so feel free to add some...I don't use my blender often enough but would like to with some good blender recipes.

What do you got ats members?

My personal favorite for seafood of any type but great for fresh shrimp/prawns (depending on where you are).

Mango Coulis
2 mediun size mangos peeled and cut into cubes
2 Tablespoons suagar
4 dashes Tabasco sauce (hot sauce)
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste

Put mangos, sugar, hot sauce, and lemon juice in blender and blend on high until smooth. Seasson with salt and pepper to tasste. If too thick, add a small amount of water. Keep chilled until ready to serve.

That looks like it would be awesome and I might give that a try.(minus the curry)

Speaking of ginger,I have something I forgot about.
I am a simple guy and this is a simple thing.

Take some ginger and toss it in a blender.
Cut 2 apples, some ice and blend.

Its a simple ginger apple drink.
I love ginger but don't use it too much.
Thanks for the recipe.

Hey DrumsRfun!
Nice thread, great idea!

Benevolent Heretic...that soup sounds fabulous! Will definitely give it a try!

I've mostly been making fruit smoothies...ice cubes, 2% milk or almond milk, berries, a banana, some coconut...maybe a little yogurt.

The broccoli soup sounds good too, but I would want to add cheese, lol.

For those of us a little south of you, cool and refreshing is a stanard for the summer months. Not to mention, I got the recipe from a Filipina, so mango and cool go hand in hand.

Mmmm broccoli soup....

I don't have a blender but i have a Cuisnart hand blender that works like a blender.

I got this recipe off the back of the Almond milk I buy, dark chocolate almond milk.

1 frozen banana
1 tbs cocoa powder (I use dark chocolate)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract (I use real vanilla extract that imitation stuff is junk)
1 cup dark chocolate almond milk
**I add one big spoonful of peanut butter with some honey.

Blend til smooth and serve.

I LOVE this. I am a chocolate fiend but only dark chocolate and I'm very picky about what kind it is. The dark chocolate almond milk I get is actually very good. I was hesitant at first but then I saw this recipe on the back and well I keep it stocked in my fridge.

I gave my son a taste recently and well lets just say he loved it too.

Now when he sees me take out this particular cup he gets all excited because he knows what comes next. The recipe serving fits perfectly in this cup and it's got a straw so it works.

This is my only blender recipe.
