I was just thinking the same thing ... he's saying where the choppers are and where the police are ....
It wouldn't be hard for the shooter to find an escape route if he's listening to Tyler tell him where
not to go ....

Reporting that 8 people are injured and two reported shooters.

Reporting one death...NBC affiliate in Dallas.

I heard that too on scanner and live streaming news station link.

My heart goes out to the victims and their families. I hope this isn't written up as another workplace incident, so the victim's families can get the help and resources they need.

oh good, they just mentioned the warning about the guy that threatened jihad against a military base that there was an APB for; i thought i remembered that but was beginning to think i imagined hearing it.

Standard Operational Procedure for any security incident. Every base does drills where they will temporarily do this, beef up security, and sometimes do some tactical stuff.

This time it is real.

They probably don't know who is and is not a shooter, so they are catching everyone and checking them, but WOW.....
