Report: Shooting at Fort Hood; Multiple Injuries UPDATE2: Four dead, 16 injured...

Seems a bit strange that two mass shootings would occur there, carried out by men with the last names of "Hassan" and "Hasan." Bizarre.

I have a feeling we'll soon be told that there is no second gunman. Seems there usually (officially) isn't.

K c e n is reporting via CNN one of the shooters is reported dead. Unconfirmed.

Yup, looks like one shooter dead, one in custody.

They aren't allowed firearms on base I don't think. Or ammo. Plus there are families. Shelter in place is SOP.

I wouldn't put my family on a military base.

I'd get my own home where I would have the right to defend them with a gun.

Which is ironic they get paid to shoot at people for a living.

It is a military base, everyone is subject to gunpoint,
and even being shot just for going into the wrong area.
And on a military base, that is ok!

I would caution against putting much validity on Brian Todd reports-- he is in DC and notoriously inaccurate during breaking news.

Yeah this news feed with Tyler was talking about that when I first tuned in...the similar names.

Tyler seems to be gone.

Fox News now reporting that the Jihad threat from a few days ago is a 'SEPARATE THING' from this shooting. They aren't saying how they know this ... but thats what Shepard Smith just said ....

From what I can gather there is one suspect in custody but unconfirmed reports of another suspect dead. Apparently there is also a search on for a Grey Toyota Sedan.

CNN confirming 15 injured.
