Report: Shooting at Fort Hood; Multiple Injuries UPDATE2: Four dead, 16 injured...

Guys, I really don't think this is the time to be moaning about civilians coming to the aid of military personnel. It shouldn't and doesn't make any difference. I'm sure they are all working together trying to save peoples lives in Fort Hood at the moment.

Now they are being escorted out but not at gunpoint anymore but hands still up.

They are coming toward Tyler he is saying.

I can't speak for Fort Hood, but out of the 4 years I've been driving in and out of the post that I am at I have not once been searched. A decal on your car and a drivers license that gets scanned is sufficient to get on in a few minutes. If your vehicle is not registered on post, a DL, insurance card, and registration is needed. Not difficult.

Why are there never any live reports with video of these shootings? The reports sound similar to what War of the Worlds sounded like. Not claiming this isn't occurring, but there are reporters, cameras and all sorts of monitoring all over the place and we never see a thing from these shootings.

remember that for hours during the Navy Yard shooting they were hunting for a non-existent 2nd shooter

The creepy thing? I live in KC area. This was all over the talk radio news a couple days ago, and they were wondering why they hadn't done something if they knew who this guy was. Then, just this morning, they were talking about again. Apparently, after it had hit the news, the FBI was falling all over themselves to walk it back.

Now we have this.

I would think...he said he's hiding and the police have not found him..he reported that he does not want guns pointed in his face so he's hiding...

There is a link to the live police/fire/ems scanner feed in my OP (courtesy of thesaneone) , there has been as much live video as allowed just outside the base,m we have at least one ATS member posting real time from base housing... That's not too bad... I'm sure over the next few hours and days, there will be some video uploaded by people on the base...
