Though, it can certainly be annoying if not intended!

Indeed, everyone can stumble upon it if they quote you. You just have to make sure no one needs to quote you except the intended recipient.

You can still pass secrets. They're called Private Messages. As far as pissing in your cheerios, take heart. You can start another secret society if you like. Isn't this Above Top Secret?

On another note, I though our job was to expose secret societies, not start them.

Going to copy and paste the original linked post here where I can do some editing. My first thought is a nested quote being removed to avoid quote wormholes.


ETA: It is a quote wormhole. A fixed message follows:

ETA2: Seems there is something more odd going on with the bbcode with multiple edit by tags within the quotes.

ETA3: Checking some more.

ETA4: Okay I found what happened. Part One was the nested quotes. But Part Two was that there was a < joining two words that was interpreted as html code as an open carrot to a html tag. There was no > joined to a word to close it. It was located at gifts < rewards (just with no spaces).

I want to ask my beloved ATS members for some help. Has anyone seen or come into contact with this:

As you pointed out, its not exactly "secret." More.. subtle.

Everyone has access to any of it, they just have to click a button.

Can you image? Now there are people clicking quote on every post to see if there are any "secret messages".

Thats a big bowl of pissy cheerios to wade thru.

I did have some glitches editing my recent post just now - while correcting something, I had the cursor jumping to the end,and the post was truncated by a paragraph. Maybe the post was too long, but my editing of a word should not have cut the entire last paragraph. It was successfully edited few attempts later.

And I am not sure if this is normal (I have not seen this before), but the "New" threads appeared not in chronological order.
