So numbers are not good because its America, I wonder how good are the numbers in the 127/177 most corrupt country in the world.
The question it is who has teach them to be corrupt.

And why...

"Divide et Impera?"

Corruption works both ways.

And why all those enriched overnight in the corrupt countries buy properties in US and UK?...while people get poorer in those corrupt countries.

They shouldn't be allowed....

They WOULD dump 200 billion of US bonds in one day. Urging China to do the same or at least threaten to do the same.

Your ignorance of economics and the way free markets work is self evident. To "dump" something means to sell it at below its market value in order to drive the market prices down. Although fungible, bonds are not commodities, but rather contracts to repay a loan of a certain amount of money, plus interest, over a certain period of time. By dumping US bonds, a country is selling them for less than they paid for them, thus losing money. Let Putin shoot himself in the foot: by all means, Mr. Putin, dump your US Bonds! In fact, please give them all away to me for free. I'll take them off your hands.

china already back up Russia fully...

On Sunday, after the Russian Federation Council authorized the use of armed forces in Ukraine, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Qin Gang issued a special statement on the situation. “China is deeply concerned about the current situation in Ukraine,” Qin said. He called on “the relevant parties in Ukraine to resolve their internal disputes peacefully within the legal framework.” As for external interference in the Ukraine, Qin emphasized that China respects “the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine” and said that a solution should be found “based on respect for international law and norms.”

China backs China interest fully

China itself is more in a position comparable to Ukraine, there are parts of it that want independence like Tibet, if Russia invades Crimea for its independence others countries can invade Tibet too.

There are millions of ethnic Chinese in Siberia. China is leaving the door open for them to annex Russian Manchuria to "protect" those ethnic Chinese. I hope Putin doesn't have a problem with that.

Over the last few years, I've thought much of what the US is doing, is to crash the economy. I have no specifics to mention, but time and time again, I've thought to myself "they're doing this on purpose, they cannot be that stupid".

Between the trillions in debt, the billions paid to other countries to buy loyalties, the billions lost, the failing infrastructure, the daffy foreign policies, the militarization of the cops, now trying to sanction Russia knowing the repercussions of the markets world wide, and that this could really hurt Germany and the rest of th EU.......etc, etc...

Maybe this kafuffle with Russia is just what they need to finally kill the economy.

Does anyone else think the USA complaining about Russia invading another country is pretty much the pot calling the kettle black?

The Hypocrisy would be hilarious if the consequences from this didnt have the potential to really, Really, REALLY F*** the world we live in.

Ive come to the conclusion that us Westerners, Yanks, Poms, Aussies, Kiwis, Cannucks etc etc are the bad guys

Im actually on Russias side in this, maybe if they had of just sent in the drones and foreign mercenaries like the US does all of this could have been avoided, so far no civilian or military deaths yet the media condemnation is worse than all the recent wars the US has been involved in put together.

Something tells me history will not view us Westerners kindly

I'm British, am ex-Army and love my country...and i'm on the side of the Crimean Russians, and the Russian Federation on this issue too.

Hypocrisy always provokes a strong reaction in me, always has..and unimaginably glaringly obvious 'you're too dumb to think for yourself and see through this crap we're spewing' kind of hypocrisy? Well, that goes several levels higher.

As for the poster who would happily see his already struggling economy take another hit, his fellow country folk struggling to keep warm in Winter and Cool in Summer, and electricity prices escalating to unheard of highs, wake up and smell the coffee, while you can still afford to buy it.

60% of Crimeans are ethnic Russians..they are digging in, building fortifications, and equipping and readying themselves in case Jack booted, neo-nazis decide to attempt the chaos and destruction they caused in Kiev and violently try to enforce a 'ban' on living, breathing Russian people along with the quicksmart ban on their spoken language, culture and writing...if you get my drift.

Many other non ethnic Russian Crimeans, are also supporting the Russians, digging in alongside them, and sharing trenches for the same reasons.

If some posters were so concerned with the lives of the people in Crimea as much as they say you ought to remember another time in history when Nazism was allowed to run rampant across the world and the how all of our lives were affected by acting too slowly to stop its spread.

Russia should be thanked for its role in preventing the fascists from decimating Crimea and it's people...instead were giving a $1 billion in aid and supporting the bastards.

We'll never learn.

Correction...US/EU PEOPLE will pay the price...as usual.

Those US/EU elites pushing this for their own murky purposes, will come out smelling of blood soaked roses, as usual too.

The dollar's goin' down, y'all.

Baraq's gettin' out maneuvered on purpose.

How you gonna change your name to Barack, get the presidency, and oversee during the Arab spring, while calling yourself a Christian?

Can you imagine living in Syria right now? I think Damascas goes down in both Christian and Islam prophecy. lol

It seems like you are trying to make out like America is the bad guy for sanctioning Russia. How is this even related to what is going on in the Middle East? Russia's actions have brought on anything that comes, and even if they dump US holdings, it really will not make that big of a deal. China would never go along with Russia on this point, because China is too dependent on American consumers. It is just an impossibility.

And cutting oil to western Europe could actually work out better for the US in the long run. Maybe America needs something like this to finally convince them to tap their own oil reserves, and then lower the price of gas and boost the economy at the same time. My point is that even if Russia goes through with these threats, the US need not be hurt by such actions.

Putin is just plain ignorant if he thinks America is going to back down. Has he not noted the history of the US? And if things got so far, an all out war with Russia is something the people could get behind, unlike what is going on in the ME. Especially if Russia is the aggressor. The only point that would worry me in such a situation is the nuclear state of affairs. History has proven that modern wars can still be fought without nuclear intervention, but if a country was beaten, that is when you must worry about them using nukes as a last ditch effort. Mutual annihilation.

Seems to me it'd hurt them more than it'd hurt us, because drop them and I'm sure there will be an equal and opposite reaction.

I hope you guy's are right about China not going along. That's actually fairly comforting (the trade angle).

Russia is in on the Syria thing too, that's how it goes w/ the ME. Russia accused us of infiltrating that conflict.

If China believes the US is trying to gain more control in Ukraine, by coup or w/e, I'm not so sure they'll be too happy w/ that.

That would be awesome if the US started tapping more oil at home, though

Don't see it happening.

The US is Russia, and China's major cash cow.

The billions American business/government pump in to China.

The billions that 'American foreign policy' pumps in to Russia via its mafia 'illegal' arms trade.

Lot of saber rattling going on.

Yes. Any innocent person that dies is tragic. All of them. It's a terrible violent world we live in.
