Greetings and Salutations

Hello, I am OkieTransplant. I have lived all over the United States but have lived in Alabama now for 12 years.
If you follow College Football any at all, you will understand just how popular I'm not with some of my neighbors.
Fortunately i live in the country and my closest neighbors are not at all close. I am a 47 years old man, I'm disabled
and am unable to drive, so i'm at home pretty much all the time. I have 4 kids, 3 of whom have all graduated from
college; i have 5 grandkids that i get to spoil when i'm able.

I am a conservative, although I'm not a republican. I believe that we once lived in the greatest country on earth, but in
the last 12 years we have traded our freedom for security, and now traded our freedoms for what some call "the greater good".
I'm not sure what the 'greater good' is, I do know that the greater good involves me defending my home and my wife, so i'm
going to keep my guns. I'm a Christian but i'm not a hypocrite, If I think your wrong I will tell you in no uncertain terms.

Anyway, Its great to be a member of this great forum, and look forward to interacting with all of you.
