Do heterosexual people have a "Straight Agenda"? No because is completely nonscence idea, same as gays don't have an agenda. What gays want is to treated equally, and whilst people like Putin and certain religious people have homophobic views, then the LGBT still have a long way to go.

With regards to Christian Bashing, perhaps if certain Christians on ATS acted as such then We would have no issue. Every single time there is a thread on ATS that has a gay theme, no matter what the issue someone brings religion into it and uses it as an excuse to bash the LGBT.

I believe is Desim whereby I believe in god just not organised religion. I have no need for religion as I lead my life by Karma. That said I don't want to be preached to regarding religion of any faith but Christians do seem to take the biscuit by trying to put their believes onto everyone else.

I would disagree with that. You were not born heterosexual. You were just born. There was nothing sexual about you when you were born. You have obviously never been out and about here lately if you think the majority of heterosexuals are consenting adults. Most of the kids at our high school are having sex. Homosexuality is a choice plain and simple. Something somewhere along the way went awry and they chose that road. My niece is a very beautiful woman who has always been "boy crazy". She had the Nsync posters that she kissed on all the time. Last year she got the crap beat out of her by her boyfriend and she declared she hated men. A few weeks later she was posting on FB that she was in a relationship with a woman. I told her not to judge all men on the actions of one idiot and she scorned me and insisted this had nothing to do with him. She said she has always known she was gay. Funny thing is, she is engaged to a man today. Weird, she must have been born gay.
My point is people have issues and try and pawn it off at the wrong place. I can admit that there are men with too much estrogen and women with too much testosterone that may be more inclined to be homosexual or lesbian with the wrong environment but still a choice.

I agree that some people do change their sexualty during their lives, these people are known as "Bi Sexual" and not to be mistaken for Homosexual or heterosexual who are born attracted to only one sex.

YES Jesus is clear on homosexuality.

There is NOTHING recorded in scripture about Jesus having anything to say about homosexuality.
And as far as your Old Testament goes ... so what?
The cultural bias of that time period was written down by men and they claimed it was God saying it.

Same tired argument. Animals are not homosexual, it is a dominance thing. Again, why do you compare homosexuals to primal lower animals ? Some animals eat their young, guess people are free to do so then. Some animals piss and even defecate on everything to mark their territory, guess people are fine to do so as well.

Pedophilia is it's own sexual orientation. Homosexuality is it's own sexual orientation.
Sexual Orientation is determined by genetics, biology, hormones. It cannot be 'cleansed'
