Zero Republicans voted for the PPACA.

Oh please. Neither the democrats or the republicans have had enough of a majority that they could get anything passed with just members of their party alone voting for it. By default you have to have people from both parties voting for it.

if this is such a great law and it did so many great and wondrous things an is such a huge accomplishment, then why on earth are all the democrats trying to run from it? Why are they so upset that commercials are being run calling them by name as supporters? All logic would dictate that if it is as great and wonderful as they claim it is then they should be sending thank you letters to the Koch brothers for the free campaign ads.

Do you want to remain stupid?? Ok do it.

There were so many Republican amendments to the bill it was not even funny. They got every single amendment they requested and than turned around and voted against it??? Why do you wonder??

Because it was set up to be a left right controversy.

Umm, there were no republican amendments allowed, much less them getting every single one they requested. if you are going to make a claim like that, please provide some proof.

ok, I stand corrected there were some republican amendments allowed, but nowhere near every single one of them, read this article.

I'm trying to find the amendments. Several leftist sources cite 161 amendments from republicans were added to the bill.

But they cite each other with no original source except for one

www.finance.senate.gov...

But even then there is no list.

Now I did find this;
rsc.scalise.house.gov...

And it does show all the amendments proposed from republicans to the democrats for Obamacare.

What it also shows is that even though they were accepted into committee, they were all voted down.
