Naturally he says all this after a weak unemployment report.

What can we *Really* expect this time. Remember he usually says the opposite of what he means to do.

Obama’s latest economic pivot comes on the heels of a dismal Friday jobs report that shows the U.S. labor force participation rate has contracted to its lowest rate in 36 years.

The Obama Administration’s $5.8 trillion of big government deficit spending has caused the United States to suffer an “internal devaluation,” as American worker wages after inflation were forced down in each of the last five years.

Wage controls to control income inequality?

Income equality ?

Meaning a difference in skilled and unskilled labor ?

Newsflash there has always been a difference between the two that is until social engineering programs, and a 'standardize' wage was implimented by fascists.

I don't see any 'income gaps' when one figures in those programs like Free homes,free cell phones, free birth control pills, free insurance, and free health care.

And those programs are 'free' since the majority over 100 million Americans are paying little or nothing in return.

Income 'equality' my arse.

People are 'entitled' to fiat currency the government prints out of thin air, and devalues like last weeks(made in China) iphone.

Manufactured crisis is what the 'year of action' is going to look like. just like the last 6 years.

Hasn't he said this lie every year for the last 5 years? Also if this is the year of ACTION, what were the last 5 years and why was there no action then? The first year was obviously the year of transparency

Maybe he'll declare war on the economy.

If it works as well as the war on poverty, the war on drugs, and the war on terrorism, the country could experience unprecedented prosperity.

Impeachment before 7th of 10 years in office would be nice.

Oh, I agree with you, but I'm thinking about what he might do to take "action" and his latest buzz words which happen to be "income inequality."

After all, we need to all experience the biggest joy of socialism - the equal sharing of misery.

Or, could he be predicting his own assassination (or faked assassination)

Yeah we have indeed experience the 'greatness' of socialism.

Getting paid for doing absolutely nothing like holiday pay, and vacation time, etc to employers paying for the employees unemployment insurance, and matching their social security contributions.

Those grand ideals are all fine and dandy until people see the result of that:

High dollars full time middle class Blue collar manufacturing, and IT, and engineering jobs are going the way of the dodo bird, and moving offshore to China, and India.

I scoff that anything he says because the current state of the union is the direct result of his parties ideology.

'Hey people need to get more money' so they can buy all the corporate products their little hears desire'.

Which has put this nation 17 trillion dollars in the red, and it is only growing.

America loved the thought of being king, so did the masses, that is right up until the last 20 years as the rest of the world is moving up to the 'first world' status.

But most people still don't see the forrest for the trees.

We are losing, and lost our technological, and competitive edge because really success sucks. We now live in the world where everyone is a 'winner' now give them money.

So it has taken 6 years of Obama presidency to promise that he will start something that he should have started 6 years ago? you know what that means? it means nothing, yes people it means just that another promised of nothing.
