Try changing the text colour to something like mine it might work better, electric blue on black and white should work.

well, i've tried it before one black/white variations, it seems red picks up the most. on my last avatar i had to white it out where there was text so that it would show through, it's not as bad here, so i think i'll just wing it..

I have the entire code line written down that can be altered to any pic and file link in a word document somewhere.

Trouble is, it's 5am here and I can barely see straight atm.

Create the images you want to use, they scale down as you fit more, but three/four side by side is about the max you can fit. Two would need to be roughly 300x50-70 pixels in length/width, three go for 200x50 for each one. Four is about 150x50 for each one. Once you've got the images and links, post them here and I'll run off the code for you in a few hours.

was a taker. Sorry to hear about your troubles. I don't know if it's
what they call the "7 yr itch" or not but either way it is not fun. I
went through it myself being in the same position as you.

If they are not worth having you now, at least you know & will not be
building more on a foundation that might totally crumble.

I was directed here by the kind people who welcomed me and I need some help.

I don't really trust myself on the computer enough to put everything together in a way that doesn't come out as sideways, so I would be very grateful for a talented, insightful person to help me. I am sure you can come up with something much better than me.

What I am looking for is a gender neutral, natural looking, but colorful, either "tree of life" or spiral staircase.

For an underline quote, I would like to use this, "Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards." Soren Kierkegaard.

I see these beautiful, funny and very creative avatars here. Do you think you can help an old girl (ok, not so old)

Just the normal work starting time. Early riser anyway, very rare to sleep past 5-530 each day. The lack of daylight savings here means the sun is usually up around 430-5 anyway.

If by smarter you mean already saved into Word and just changed the thread numbers and image codes, then yes I guess so...

At least I can see straight now. Like you, buried under paperwork yet again. I'm beginning to hate Saturdays.

That's pretty spot on Ektar.

Just an idea, the quote could go around the edges of the tree, kind of wrapping the whole thing. Just watch the corners as they do crop.

Wow!!! but the staircase ends. Sorry, I don't mean to be a critic or too choosy, but the general theme for me lately is,
"as above, so below." The staircases and trees have been constant in dreams and my personal (not very good) paintings for the past 15-20 years. I am so happy to have your help and this perspective was way beyond cool. So much imagery. It might be the one.
