Ron Wyatt also found the actual site of the Exodus crossing, complete with commemorative markers placed by King Solomon and Egyptian chariot parts from the dynasty of Moses' time on the floor of the sea, where there happens to be an underwater land bridge. He found the real Mt. Sinai, which is in Saudi Arabia surrounded by a military fence as well as stone altars with carvings as described in the Bible and the huge rock that Moses split in half and water poured out of which inexplicably has channels eroded by flowing water at its base. Mt. Sinai is charred black at the top by fire (he snuck over the fence to analyze the rocks), though nothing flammable is found there and no such feature exists in the surrounding area. He found Sodom and Gemorah (spelling could be wrong) which had been devastated by falling rocks of sulpher which completely covered both cities in inexplicable quantities, especially for the area, and had even melted the rock there. The sulpher was analyzed in a lab, which showed the it to be more pure and hot burning than any natural sulpher. Wyatt found the Arc of the Covenant deep within an underground cave system in Jerusalem. Blood had dripped from the surface through a crack and landed on the mercy seat of the arc, which had been uncovered so that the blood actually landed where the Jewish high priest used to sprinkle lamb's blood for the sins of Israel. Wyatt found that the crack started at the base of where he believes Jesus' cross was placed (there was an Earthquake at the moment of Jesus' death that split the Earth and destroyed the Jewish holy of holies). Wyatt had the blood analyzed by Israeli scientists, who found that the blood was still alive and contained only 24 chromosomes, 23 from the mother and one Y from a father. Apparently an angel told Wyatt that the world would not know of his discoveries until "the antichrist institutes the Sunday law." Those who won't believe will have no excuse. God is good.

Brilliant!!

And the evidence proving all this is where?
You are a con mans dream.

Are you kidding me? Google: Ron Wyatt (insert any discovery I just mentioned). The internet?

So the Bible says "Thou shalt not lie"
You know, just after that bit where an invisible spirit creates the world in 6 days, Noah builds his ark to save the animals from the flood, a virgin gives birth to the son of God, and Jesus is immortal and returns from the dead. You know.. Because truth is important in religion.

Hahaha.....I have nothing except some lame reason like the Earth pulled water off of the passing planetary body? And that is the very definition of clutching at straws.

How high would the water level be if we could somehow make all of the "underground" water sources surface for some reason?

What would happen if the interior of the Earth became hot enough to cause the water to boil over vast areas of the crust?

Do we even have reasonable projections yet of the amount of underground water available? I doubt it considering they are finding new sources all of the time, even massive ones.

I am afraid many are convinced of something without having considered even a few of the possibilities. As a result a topic like this does a lot more for showing people's psychology and stereotypes rather than ever coming to some sort of logical conclusion.

I am happy with admitting that there is simply not enough information and therefore it remains an unknown.

I can't disagree. I was just going through barely logical theories.

I am pretty sure you got it all out of order.

Because truth is important ?

Why would the Bible tell "nothing" to not "lie?"
Clearly the instructions were given after the 6 days creation period.

I am not saying all of that stuff is true or anything, I don't know.
But I am saying you got your timeline a bit butchered there.

That was a commandment given to Moses on Mt. Sinai. After Creation, after Noah but before Son of God or anything to do with Jesus doing anything.

Not saying that makes any of it true or not, but you should at least get the correct timeline of things. The commandments are Old Book. Jesus is New Book.

It's 6000 feet above sea level, and even if all the ice in the world had melted and raised the sea level by 200 feet at the most, there just wouldn't be enough water elsewhere in the world to deposit a ship that far up a mountain.

But what if the tides went haywire and most of the water ended up on one side of the planet?

Have no idea if this is true or not, just thought I'd add a theory to the discussion.

Ok, so, for grins, let's add double, and even triple the volume of water currently tied up as ice:

Current volume accounted for; all the ice in Antarctica, and locked up in snow, glaciers, and the like, we get a 215 ft rise in sea levels.

woo.

Double that, well, 430ft above current levels?
Still quite far away from that 6000ft above sea level.

Triple? 645ft above sea level now.

What about TEN TIMES the amount currently locked up in ice right now?
hmmm. okay, so, that takes us up to 2150ft above sea level.

... still quite a way and then some away from stranding some boat on a mountainside 6000 ft above sea level.

Sorry. Invisible unaccounted for water sources, even up to 10x and even 20x couldn't do it.

Thus, we have either a ritual boat (if there ever even was one) that never floated, built to perpetuate a "story" that later becomes "True" through retelling and generational forgetting of the fabrication as well as acceptance because, hey, there's the boat right there ...
or
We have Magical Angry Man in the Sky Making Magical Water Magically appear in sufficient quantity to fulfill the Wrath quotient for whatever chapter in whatever book that required some more wrath to be doled out, to then Magically Disappear all the Magical Waters of Wrath once done.
Oh, with a rainbow on top.

Well, according to my research there are ancient seashells found in the Himalayas.

Please Google "Differential Vertical Tectonics" and investigate the information available.

Essentially, with all of these "variables", these types of speculations about the "Flood Event" are still viable because we actually don't know.

You are using a crutch mentally to avoid the issue actually:

Pretending that the issue is entirely reliant upon it's purveyors who are typically very under educated on the specific topics at hand. What am I going to reject Calculus because some guy on the street claims it's true yet cannot explain it properly?

Ok so what do we know.

According to the bible Noah lived hundreds of miles inland. He is then requested to build a cruise liner size boat..without any master boat making skills. To aid him in his task were 4 sons and their wives. Now what we know of this time is that the women were not the skilled tradesmen and were in fact home makers.. so there is half your workforce gone already. At the same time he is supposed to get 2 of each kind of animal..transport them..keep them and feed them the right food with no dietary knowledge.

I believe in the flood..but to believe in the above..you may as well believe in santa claus.

Now imo what really happened was that noah and his family were given the DNA of all the animals for safe keeping..and possibly taken off planet during the flooding in a biosphere.

Certainly there's seashells to be found.
All mountains on the planet were, at one time, before plate tectonics made them, river valleys, ocean floor, grasslands, etc.
Once upon a time, 4 Billion Years ago, Earth didn't have the mountain ranges it has now.
The Himalayas, I might add, are one of the Youngest mountain ranges on Earth.
If I recall correctly, without reference, the whole area was a Tethys Ocean around the time of the Dinosaurs.
That's still some 65-70 Million years before man was ever around to build any boats.

Geologically, even 10,000 years ago, if some Angry God Flood Happened, The Himalayas were pretty much as they are now.

Thus, sure, if you want to go back some 65-70 Million Years ago and say the Noah was canoeing around with Dinosaurs, I'll disagree, but, everyone is welcome to believe what they want.

...And there's more! As jimmy cricket used to say..

According to the bible.. if you take it as 100% truth.. *coughs* then Noah was roughly 400 years old when he made the Ark.

Now I don't know about you..but when I have a hard days graft, my body needs a day to recuperate..and I'm 38 !

I am a Marine engineer by trade, i am now a certified Marine Surveyor, i have seen and touched this rock formation, it is not a boat of any kind. I appreciate that people want to believe but this is 100% not Noah's ark.

there is nothing "proving" this to be bogus.

well, in the article there is nothing 'proving' that it is Noahs Ark.

I'd LOVE for it to be real. Then I could buy into the Old Testament stories being fact instead of myth and folklore and allegory. That would be awesome. But unfortunately, there isn't enough evidence to support that this is absolutely without doubt Noahs Ark. It looks like a natural formation to me.

We went fossil hunting in Canada ... near Niagara Falls. We found tons and tons of ancient
sea bed fossils. Brought some of them home. That was hundreds of miles inland and elevated
into Canada.

Except for the fact that it is mentioned in multiple ancient texts spanning 5 or more different cultures and religions...

The Summerians had their epic. Then Hebrews borrowed off that. Then Zoroastrians borrowed it. Then the Christians borrowed it. Then the Muslims borrowed it. But just because they all borrowed off the first epic doesn't mean that first epic was historical or correct.

That would be like World Net Daily running an article and then the New York Times and Washington Post and BBC picking it up and putting their own spin on it. Just because the NY Times and Washington Post and BBC ran pretty much the same story, that doesn't make the World Net Daily story any more or less accurate.

For those who state that the waters could not have reached so high, yes they could have on a smaller Earth. Here is a vid on the subject, I just disagree with his time scale:
