The drone convo is pertinent and something we need to discuss like this more and more. I believe it is terrorism and it is being used as terrorism ie: to instill terror into people.

China will become a 'super power' when and if they:

Stop stealing western technology.

Their economy stops being propped up by the US and Europe.

A superpower is more than about military tech. IT is all about the money.

US,Europe, China relations is a match made in hell none will jepardize that cash cow.

With regards to defaulting to the legal system about drunk driving. As with all laws.

They do not stop anything.

They do not prevent anything.

They only punish after the fact.

Be it a rich kid.

Be it a Senator from Massachuetts.

Be it a expresidents wife.

Solutions don't begin with laws. They begin in the home.

I agree but that guy broke the law in place.

He should have been punished much harsher for taking those four lives.

I wonder since the decline of corporal punishment in school if there has been a corresponding rise in bad behavior?

Since schools have become 'soft' they are producing more less disciplined people in to the world.

Dude, people are starving all over the world. Being a 1st world nation doesn't prevent it.

I am not arguing the hows or whys, just that there are people that go hungry everyday.
