The Earth canopy could also explain the life span reduction post flood as well.

With some like Methusala living to close to 1000 years old, a few generations after the flood life spans were reduced to around 120 years (Abraham, Jacob and Moses), and finally down to around 70 years like we have to this day.

The canopy would have blocked a much larger % of solar radiation slowing the decay of bio-organic life.

Just a thought.

when it comes to any scientific conclusions, that have no chance of coming
from any higher intellect. Because you just don't know enough. That's why I

If Noahs Ark happened .. then this 80,000 year old tree colony wouldn't have survived. The trees would have drown under a mile of water sitting on them for months and months and months. With no sunlight as well. Dead dead dead. But no ... these 80,000 year old trees live on. Therefore ... NO WORLD WIDE FLOOD.

I will never be convinced that when it comes to God and his word science

Noahs Ark Doesn't Float

Miles of coral reef, hundreds of feet thick, still survive intact at the Eniwetok atoll in the Pacific Ocean. The violent flood would have certainly destroyed these formations, yet the rate of deposit tells us that the reefs have survived for over 100,000 undisturbed years. Similarly, the floodwaters, not to mention the other factors leading to a boiling sea, would have obviously melted the polar ice caps. However, ice layers in Greenland and Antarctica date back at least 40,000 years.

These reefs would have been torn apart and would have died. In fact, the oceans themselves would have died. All the ocean creatures, big and small, right down to the coral reefs ... dead dead dead. But no .. they are INTACT. Not disturbed for at least 100,000 years. So again .. more evidence that Noahs Ark story is impossible. It did not happen.

Your mistake is thinking that the Noahs Ark story is from God and it happened.
The story is a myth written down by primitive men. Nothing more.

BOOM ... more absolute evidence that Noahs Ark didn't happen. There would have to have been at least 13 million animals on that boat. Two of each kind. The ark couldn't fit that many animals, plus their food and fresh water, for months and months and months .... IMMPOSSIBLE. Science Daily

And the DNA diversity isn't there. They would have inbred themselves to death.

And the species distribution isn't there from after the 'flood'.

Absolute proof. Noahs Ark didn't happen. Indisputable.

The Earth Canopy? By that are you referring to the vapor canopy hypothesis? You know, that crazy biblical claim that if it were true would crush every single land animal on the planet into red paste?

First, let us look at atmospheric pressure. For the earth's atmosphere, the pressure is almost exactly hydrostatic, since it is held to the earth by gravity and velocities are too low to significantly change the pressure. In plain language this means that the air pressure at any point is equal to the weight of the air in a unit area column above that point. At sea level, air pressure in US engineering units is about 14.5 pounds/sq inch because a column of air one inch square extending to the top of the atmosphere weighs (Guess what!?) 14.5 pounds. On top of Mt. Everest, the pressure is lower because the lowest and densest 9km of the atmosphere is below that point.

Now the "vapor canopy" would form a part of the atmosphere, being a body of gas (water vapor) gravitationally held to the earth. It would in fact be most of the pre-flood atmosphere. There would have to be enough vapor to form 9km of liquid, when condensed, and, therefore the vapor would weigh as much as 9km of water. The pressure at the earth's surface, where Noah and family lived, would be equal to one atmosphere PLUS the weight of a 9km column of water of unit area. This is equivalent to the pressure 9km deep in the ocean. What is this pressure? Well, each 10m of water is roughly equivalent to one atmosphere, so the pressure would be 900 atmospheres. The atmosphere would also have a composition of about 900 parts water vapor to one part of what we call air today.

It isn't insulting God by admitting the Noahs Ark story is a bunch of baloney. It is just stating fact. Your mistake is in thinking that just because someone wrote a story and it got into the bible, that it actually happened. The story isn't 'the Word of God' .. it's just a story. No where does God 'give His Word' that Noahs Ark happened. The FACTS show that it didn't happen. Period.
