Why not? This thing is a great academic example of rocks which really look like earthly objects. Aside from the funny aspect of it, it's in my opinion a good study on how seemingly random things can look quite structured.

And if you look really closely over the cyborgs right shoulder (left shoulder as you look at it), you can just make out what COULD be the remains of the organic being that might have took the cyborg out...it seems to have been a tie though, as what looks very much like a humanoid skull is sitting there, looking in the direction of the cyborg...

Here's an image of the 'skull'...right in the centre is the skull and on the right side of the crop is the shoulder of the cyborg.

I have seen this photo posted various times always marked with various faces.
I do not believe there are various faces..I believe there is simply one face and it's a carving much in the way of a head ornament of a car or the painting details of a sharks mouth of a jet.

There Is one alien - he/she/it is 4 armed with 2 legs - Think of the aliens from "The arrival" but with 2 more arms. I believe life existed on mars but like our world suffered a massive catastrophic war or planetary event...Much in line with the demise of tiamat..
