The nimrods almost always contradict themselves on live TV, just too few really notice. Remember when they were reporting building 7 collapsed, yet the building was standing in plain view behind the news-caster ?.

I know it lol! I didn't remember that when I was watching it live 12 yrs ago, but I've seen it since.

I am wondering if this is why I heard there was a hot zone for a 3 block radius. If there are multiple shooters it is an operation to me not a one off heat of the moment shooting.

All EMT and LEO's are denied entry to the scene according to live EMS feed.

3 round bursts are indicative of a military issue weapon, I am pretty sure there are no weapons available to the general public that do that without a special permit.

Safe, Semi, 3RB. Full auto was removed because it burned through too much ammo too fast, and it was a tad hard on the barrel.

Police say three shooters, including at least one in fatigues, have shot at least 10 people at the Washington Navy Yard.

Watch it go from 3 to one, because it's ALWAYS a lone gunman.

Bomb squad is not a combat unit, therefore there is no need for it if they have been deployed.

I really hope this dreadful feeling I have in my gut is just because it's a rainy Monday morning....I'll be watching this thread very closely in hopes that it ends as best as it possibly can.

My thoughts and prayers to the victim(s) and their families.

Heard that also on EMS feed.

New information: 2 different reports. 1 Gunman baracaded himself in an office; 2 LEO's cornered "lone gunman" in stairwell.

Reports on BBC stating 10 people have been shot, 8 civilians and 1 DC Police Officer and 1 security officer.

Also stating that gunmen have been contained. 3 Gunmen, one in fatigues.

It's strange that commentators jump to conclusions, but what with everything going on in world, I guess it's a case of putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5, 6 7 8 etc....

Interesting to hear that the dock yard is a gun free zone.

Highly unlikely, bomb squad comes in after combat operations, although I agree there could be somebody at large, but I doubt it.
