Hi,

I looked around the site but found no posts on this topic. Please correct my mistake.

newyork.cbslocal.com...

Gov. Chris Christie officially declared a state of emergency for Seaside Park, N.J. as crews continued to battle a massive fire raging on the boardwalk Thursday evening.

I feel sorry for any victims.

The fire seems a bit sketchy but that's my opinion. How can this happen months after the storm. I'm suspicious to say the least.

I'm in Phoenix but I worry about all people.

I wish them well.

Superstorm Sandy put salt water over a lot of electrical equipment. If it wasn't replaced, fires are a given. Of course, it's only speculation right now that the source of the fire is electrical, but it's very possible.

Even one overlooked outlet and boom. Happened in February to a home in my Sandy damaged area.

Very sad for all those people to have to go through tragedy again.

The only tragedy today is seeing a Kohr Brothers burn down.

I learned about this on CNN tonight; and my first thought was arson; I am just wondering if someone had a vendetta against one of the owners of the businesses that perished.

wow dude... what a horrible thing to say, and a lousy generalization. SHAME on you.

I'm from New Jersey and have many good friends who are totally normal people who live in that town and are not anything close to the "trash" you speak of.

People like you are the problem in this world.

Have a little empathy for these poor people, jeeze.
