I'm not an atheist. I have faith in a lot of things, just not in lies as you do.
Why is everyone who disagrees with Christian doctrine automatically an atheist?
They're not all Athiests...
Some are Satanists!!

Paul was not telling people that they should call him "father".
The reason I believe Paul was a fraud is simple, he contradicts Jesus on many occasions going as far as calling himself father when Jesus said not to call anyone father but God himself.
This was discussed on an earlier thread without any real resolution.
He says that Jesus is the God of both the living and the dead where Jesus says otherwise.
Semantics my friend . . .
Romans 2
11 For God does not show favoritism.
Paul did not tell anyone to call someone "father".
As far as I can tell, Jesus said not to call anyone father, nothing more or less. Create your own meaning, I don't really care because you're blind to it.

Even if what you are saying was true, it still does not fit the criteria of your original premise, which is that Jesus taught one thing, and Paul taught something else.
Yeah, he just claimed to be father. Jesus saying call no one father includes self, so Paul calling himself father was still calling someone father.
Paul himself never mentions anything like that, saying in his letters that no one in Jerusalem (the place of this alleged event) knew him at the time that he decided to go to Jerusalem to meet with Peter.
Also, Paul would probably be the first to tell you many of the things he did was wrong, hell, he even consented to the stoning of Stephen.

The account of the stoning is in Acts, which was written 80 or 90 years after these events are supposed to have happened.edit on 28-8-2013 by jmdewey60 because: (no reason given)
Do you mean someone "channeling" Peter and Paul after they were dead and writing a retroactive "eyewitness" account?
I guess you don't believe in the Acts of the Apostles of Jesus Christ through the Power of the Holy spirit.
As most of them are, sorry for the lack of smart ones on this sub-forum.
this thread is retarded.

Also, every Knee will BOW by choice. Trust me when you hear me say, friend, when you understand how much Jesus loves you, you will gladly bow. I just pray by the time you realize it, it won't be too late.
