'Kay. You just say why being a liberal is better than being a conservative, and I'll respond with why being a conservative is better than being a liberal.

"Damn the country, Obama must fail"...
Obama failing to implement his nefarious plans would actually be GOOD for the country.
The concept of the individual health insurance mandate is considered to have originated in 1989 at the conservative Heritage Foundation. In 1993, Republicans twice introduced health care bills that contained an individual health insurance mandate. Advocates for those bills included prominent Republicans who today oppose the mandate including Orrin Hatch (R-UT), Charles Grassley (R-IA), Robert Bennett (R-UT), and Christopher Bond (R-MO). In 2007, Democrats and Republicans introduced a bi-partisan bill containing the mandate.

But "Conservative" today doesn't mean fiscal conservatism..it means that Obama is a marxist, gay terrorist born in Kenya.

What about Economics?
I'm not sure a lot of people have much debate experience here.
Okay.
How about less government vs more government?
How about low taxes vs high taxes?
Yep like some people think spending less money we DON'T have means a 'shrinking deficit'.

As the 'evil conservative' in the thread I support the abolition of the income tax which shrinks the size, and power of government which means more money in our pockets, and business that creates jobs, and lifts the standard of living, and increase economic output.
Trifecta !

How about this.
Reducing the federal budget to the same dollar amount that it was in 19. . . . err. . . . . 68.
How about it?
