Normal ?
As I'm sure you all are my good man.

You know something Jon ? I've never looked that one up.
I've always just used my own assumption to interpolate.
Why not ?

I lost my best friend almost year ago also. I miss the hell out him.

Thanks for sharing...I liked your band. I was fortunate to tour & played in Oslo & Copenhagen
in ~ 1995. Both country's were beautiful & I wish I could have spent more time there.

We enjoy the same interest in fishing but has been many years since I played
chess. I too stumbled upon ATS while looking into UFOs.

That was great.

Strange that I feel at home here and yet in the real world I can't take people very well. As a child I lost the ability to trust my fellow humans. We are all the product of our experiences and the wealth of experience here is awesome.

I do not agree with the mods all the time but that is just a part of being in a community. The vast majority of the time I do agree with them. They too have bad days when their sense of humour leaves them.

Stay cool.

You're all human?!? Huh. And I thought you were just marketing bots. lol ...Masqua and Byrd -two of my favorite people here- make me feel young (at 60). Thanks! And thank you all for sharing - spent almost all my time here today reading your bios. A truly fine bunch of people - and still growing too. Quite an accomplishment.

Oh, what fun! Hubby and I are planning to go to Scotland next year. Perhaps I'll say 'hi' to your plot of land!

It's true -- you're a mere child. Why, just the other day I was talking to Joseph of Aramathea, an he allows as how I am a mere toddler!

what would that be?

"I've never looked that one up."

???yeah. Dave's passing left a sort of hole in me , as well.

It was breezy that day, and with the updraft [ it's a hang gliding launch platform ] I left there literally 'dusted in dave'.

How could I have been wrong on so many genders? It makes me doubt my own perceptions.

Did someone say "Speaking to the Bilderbergs"? I believe so. You know who you are.

You shouldn't toss something like that out there, and then go fishing or something. It's just wrong.

I want tacos.

Masqua you could be a movie star.

SO is the brain and brawn, Springer is the heart and soul.
Haven't figured out Crackeur yet.

But thanks for this thread. I really like it.

Hey there ya'll, what a nice u2u and to find this freindly thread.

I have found some great freinds here on ATS, along with finding
the boards a vast resource of great minds, solid research and
even some entertainment on the way.

One of my first encounters with moderation on ATS was Nef.
I had posted a thread on how the intelligence agency in the UK
supposedly used George Orwells 1984 as a field guide.

Little did I know it was a rougue page linked from The Gaurdian,
and was not quite real at all. Nef mumbled something about the need
for people to read, and politely put my thread into the hoax bin.
I was a bit mortified. Now I look back on that and laugh!

I have grown to be fond of many of you mods, and yes, even Nef!

How ironic the day and age we are in, well lets just say the
spoof was not that far off...and here we are on ATS living through it!

I am SO more thankful for this thread as all of you are being so open about
your personal lives. Tenth I commend you for being so open as that is such a positive
role & people need to see positive roles especially in the gay & transgender communities.

Plus you have extended family to back that up. I am very happy for you & so glad
that ATS is not homophobic & that you are high ranking. It allows you or
others to reach out for support as well as adding to the site.

Good on You!

Cheers
Ektar

Wow & Wow is all I can say... I remember little but we were corresponding
on a thread & a tornado hit you... so sorry may responding prior to... as I recall
you were a chemist & teaching or working with students..

You had tornado damage to your farm & maybe shop(?) your wife has rabbits
(bloody hell how funny I remember this & neighbor came to help you)

Yes extensive T damage am now remembering more...you were so kind to reply
to me post. I kept wondering WHY you called yourself a "RED NECK" since you
were brilliant & thought it might be because you lived in the south or in a trailer.

We are so lucky here on ATS so have such diversity & opinions as that is vital
in my opinion for success!

Cheers

Yeah, that was me. That tree finally fell on the corner of the shop, but it didn't do any serious damage. Now I'm looking for someone who wants to buy some good hickory smoke chips.

I only got a couple tons of it.

Now you know why I go by the name "redneck"... and you also know it's more than just what I call myself.
