Why is Joshua Chellew less important than Trayvon Martin?

Between this, the Newsom/Christian murders & the Jonathan Ables case it's pretty clear the crimes will never be considered "race related" when the victims are white.

re: Jonathan Ables... Shot & killed following a road rage incident. At least in this case, the state decided not to rail road anyone and called a grand jury. More here.

The only reason the DOJ is involved in the Zimmerman case is to create and flame social divides. There is no proof of racism in that case, as there is no proof of racism in the cases mentioned above.

You have to be trying hard not to see that the media ignores black on black, black on white, and any crime against Christians. They only focus on white on black crime. And if it's a white police officer then the coverage is x10.

I value my membership and I know my limitations. It’s best I not engage in this thread content especially after a few days of straight Trayvon/racism threads (I don't want to step in it).

Here is a vid news report on the case. The report mentions only that all four suspects are members of the same gang...and they are being charged with felony murder....NOT felonious assault.

This LOCAL report (no national network coverage) says that Joshua Chellew was beaten and "pushed" into the street by the four gang members...where he collapsed and was hit by the car. That would explain why they were being charged with murder. They did NOT charge the driver (who subsequently turned himself in).

We will probably NOT soon witness weeks of LIVE multi-network court coverage of the Joshua Chellew case murder trial...nor will we hear President Obama make a special announcement that if he had a son, he would look like Joshua Chellew.

Will we hear 'on-the-floor' pronouncements from liberal members of congress in support of Joshua Chellew and his grieving family?...I think not.

Will there be any comments coming from Rev.s Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton?...Doubtful.

Will Eric Holder announce a special DOJ investigation into the Joshua Chellew case...as he recently has done with the Trayvon Martin case?...Don't hold your breath.

In the end, with the existing juxtaposition of racial elements currently present in this case, the muckraking liberal media and politicians have already come to the conclusion that this case really isn't all that important or 'newsworthy'; It should go away now.

I'm sure Joshua Chellew's family would beg to differ.

My girlfriend's uncle was shot right in front of his house, and died, around 4:30am so there were no witnesses around... I wish Obama would go on TV and talk about it. Maybe then someone who knows something will come forward. I wish the story of his shooting was all over the news every day... He was Asian, so, I dunno, I guess there is a chance that he was shot by a Hispanic guy, like Zimmerman, or maybe even a white guy... Maybe if I had connections with the Black Panthers then I could get this story some more coverage on the news, if the Black Pa.thers say it is ok I mean, of course.

I'll just have to tell my girlfriend that I'm sorry, but her uncle isn't a black man, or a 17 year old black man, and so far, we don't know if the shooter could be Hispanic, or white, so his murder is just not a big enough priority for the president to get involved personally on several occassions, but there could be hope if the next president is Asian, then maybe he will give a crap enough to do something... The most disturbing news you will read today: four White teens in Joliet, IL have been accused of strangling two young Black men to death then heinously engaging in three-way sex on top of their dead bodies. According to Patch.com, Adam M. Landerman, 19, Bethany L. Mckee, 18, Joshua F. Miner, 24, and Alisa R. Massaro, 18, invited both Terrance O. Rankins and Eric Glover over to a party which was said to be a lure to rob them of cash. The victims were then strangled to death; no rope or chord was used. “I think you need to know that this is one of the most brutal, heinous, really upsetting things that [I've seen] in 27 years of law enforcement,” police chief Mike Trafton told Patch.com. “After the homicides were committed, they continued the party atmosphere, I guess I would say, without getting into it any further.

There certainly should have been national outrage over the story you posted...It was horrendous...and OBVIOUSLY appears to be an extreme racially-motivated case of white on black crime.

Why MSNBC, President Obama and Al Sharpton wasn't all over this one, is a mystery...unless, of course, one cynically assumes it was ignored because there was no GUN involved in the heinous crime you've sited.

It would have been a much clearer case of white on black crime...than the Zimmerman/Martin case.

After all, Zimmerman was 'Hispanic' until the NYT decided Zimmerman is now to be called a "WHITE-Hispanic".
If Zimmerman, having a Hispanic mother and white father, is now to officially be classified as a "White-Hispanic"...shouldn't the NYT now have to refer to President Obama as the first "White-Black" President?
