BS!

Seriously, do you know how easy it would be to have this guy bumped off, regardless of what country he is in? You guys can't fall for this rubbish, believe me, this is a set up, a prelude to something else. I've known charachters over the years that were threats and they were quickly bumped off and some odd story released to families or the press if they were high profile, but it was a blatant hit.

The world is too small now, America operates in every country, much like Britain and even with that aside and that's minus corperate interests which operate globally and have equal say in, shall we say, international activities. Even countries that are seemingly unfriendly towards America or the West in general, strike up deals and friendships behind the scenes. Had this been genuine, this guy would've been turned over by now and either dead, or handed back to America. Take it from someone somewhat experienced, this is total BS!

My understanding is that Snowden lost his whistle blower status when he released information that has nothing to do with spying on American citizens. Therefore, he is being charged with espionage according to the espionage act. We will have to wait and find out.

EXACTLY they gave a minor functionary obsolete info and they did it on purpose. I'll ask you this if YOU found an alien weapon and you went to a foreign country and announced it how long do you think you would survive with ACTUAL PHYSICAL evidence in your hand? We would no doubt be calling some boys from Hereford out for you.
NOBODY is unkillable if they are too big a problem anymore.
He is being used as a psyop to divide us against our allies.

Personally I hope he plays it... then we'd finally get the change we need...

Got any links for this?? I haven't been able to find anything in searches, I'd really love to read up on it as a theory if you do

If Snowden's really sitting on something as damning as they claim, I'd imagine it'd have to be something huge. Really huge. For all we know, he might have definitive details on some of the money-suck Black Projects. The public knowing where that money goes could be a kick in the proverbial groin for the government. Space weapons, ground weapons, vehicles, etc. Or he could have 9-11 evidence (though I'm not in that belief camp, I'll consider it) Perhaps he has the OBL raid documents, and maybe there's something in there proving it wasn't OBL.

I seriously think Snowden as a contractor would not have all the crucial information that any elite member in the NSA or CIA would have.
I think there is more to the story on why the govt is looking for him..

Why does it have to be military? Military secrets get leaked all the time.

Look at the situation, he is threatening, or trying to threaten, the power structure of the government itself. He appears to be trying to aggravate citizens against the government before he releases the final amount of data in an attempt to cause a power shift.

He probably has information regarding the basic power structure itself and how it is executed; this probably ties in with other current events from the time he got his job to date, e.g. the actual reason for Petraeus resigning and events constituting a major structural consolidation for our government.

Looking at the whole situation, it becomes apparent that whatever information he has probably pertains to the government rather than the military.

Know what I mean Vern? Just game theory and blahblahblahblahblahblahblah. Self-evident apparent bull# yaddayadda.

*EDIT* And let me say that creating a power vacuum is a spectacularly bad idea.

All of the information is already there, contractors aren't the most intelligent group. They are generally immoral fake plastic assholes who are in it for the money. If you wanted to find out, you could do a google search and figure it out on your own.

It seems as though you could have the truth dancing naked, hot and sweaty on a table right in front of you and not be able to discern it even as it gave you a lap dance.

There are direct linear connections, but bills, rent, and utilities tend to take up all of our populations capacity for thought these days.

The truth is that penis enlargement products ACTUALLY DO WORK! The only reason you can't find photographic proof is because the CIA takes them down.

Here are my further predictions:

Mr. S is going to get temporary asylum in Russia.

Once out of the airport, all the normal and KGB backed Russian darlings will want to marry Mr. S.

Mr. S chooses the best suiting to his needs and gets permanent Russian green card.

Then Mr. S becomes an internationally renowned consultant advising corporations and governments in ways of how to defend themselves from the US NSA tricks in hacking and other security related issues.

US will repeatedly try to get hold of or even liquidate Mr. S but KGB has 24x7 protection for Mr. S.

Mr. S also sells the troves of information he stole for money and becomes a rich man.

Well thought of plan Mr. S, now put it to work, so far so good !!

..Maybe.. Just maaaaybe the US gov't shouldn't be doing things that could deface them internationally. Just a thought. Oh, and if they are then the American people should probably be aware.

If a US government can be brought down simply by having the light of truth shining on it, then it deserves to fall.

The same goes for any government or corporate establishment in the world.

You as a nation, and we as a species deserve better.

Here's to the next incarnation of the United States government being a little closer to what was envisaged by your Founding Fathers. They had the right idea from the start.

I do believe the issue is selling of state secrets to foreign nations in an uncontrolled fashion, rather than any "the light of truth" issue.

America has been involved with shady things for a LONG time, there is no denying it.

That being said, can you imagine what HELL the rest of the world will be put through if technical data and massive amounts of Intel are sold to the real dictators?

As I have said before, what good is this giant evil surviellance system if no one knows about it and no one is afraid? People tend to control themselves when they think they may be being watched. It could have just been Snowdens job to reveal it. So far seems like people just rolled over.

I'm guessing 99% of the data is porn. As many have said previously, everyone knew about this from the patriot act. Telecommunication systems are telecommunication systems after all.

That would be something, if he had access to the information. I certainly hope he does have that kind of info. I would be great to get the truth out there for once.

We use the SAS for nasty wetstuff, they can handle Russia.

I have been aware about it for sometime when Covert Action Quarterly wrote about ECHLON. About 1998 I would say so I'm afraid you are being far too obvious for this crowd.

This may be true but people said the same about Assange and he hasn't exactly produced any 'goods' since being under siege at the embassy.

Why is Obama cancelling meeting with Putin. It seems Mr. S really has some information that bites the US in the legs. Just for one man, President to President meeting is cancelled. US must be really ticked off. In that event Mr. S is better off not flying to South America. US might chase him down and drop SEALs on his plane who break the windows etc. to enter and take control of the plane.

I think Mr. S can still marry a Russian girl from the Transit itself and then apply for asylum and residency. Putin should encourage this as it will avoid Kremlin meddling into Mr. S and US affairs. Mr. S would be simply applying for residency based on marrying a Russian citizen. Due to unusual circumstances of him living in the Transit his application can be fast tracked.

However, once out of the airport, Mr. S is not too safe until and unless he is given VVIP protection and basically taken off the plain site and relocated into a some heavily guarded military bunker. This is getting really actionful it seems.
