Here is the Puscifer Version

It's not hard to post and embed videos. Especially if you are recommending them.

Gotta say, I still like Richie's version better.

BOC is one of my favorite bands and Richie is awesome. This is the most accurate and well performed rendition of this Queen song I have ever heard. Watching the multiple tracks being performed is a wonderful thing.

I am pleased you have brought this video to my attention.

Thank You.

Not bad, not bad at all. Seen Blue Oyster Cult with Foghat back in the day, there were a lot of Jack Daniels bottles flying through the air.

It's certainly well done, and not bad.

If one was trying to fool people, say as a party prank, I'd say one can hear it's not Freddy, and it lacks power, pitch and classy pronunciation in places.
And the voice is also somewhat raspy.

Postmodernism hasn't yet done to music what it's done to the visual arts through reproduction.

Maybe some would prefer this version, but ultimately it doesn't really measure up or come close to the original.
Neither is it quirky enough to be a wholly original version, or memorable in its own right.

As such it's just a cover version competing with several live theater acts based on Queen.

A good attempt nevertheless.

I'm not a big fan of covers, although Heart did a good job of Stairway to Heaven.
Would I spend money on it?
Not really.

Me too, Puscifer is video that is not exactly ground breaking, perhaps a bit of fun. Funny Enough when BR first came out, it was still the song that was most impressive too...meeee.

That was absolutely AWEsome! He has the grit of Freddy, the sublime fingering of Brian and all the rest! Thank you so much for sharing this. I knew he was doin' it right, but when the piece culminated with the minor chords towards the end and I felt myself blinking a bit, I knew he had stuck his landing. Really good stuff.
