I love the rainbow flag. To me, it means diversity in ALL things: Race, gender, sexuality, age, even political positions! It's inclusive.

Ya know..... I never thought of it like that.... I thought it was just them being greedy....

I might have to renounce my thought about not enjoying Rainbows without thinking there's a gay leprochan waiting at the end.... That thought really disturbed me...

Yikes.... I'm not mad.... And yes I will enjoy the Stanley cup.....

There's more than a lot of sarcasm in the OP and wasn't intended as a problem with the LGBT community.... I just needed more clarification that's all...

I appreciate your time in the thread.... Thank you!

Maybe my use of metaphor threw you off.

The metaphor did throw me off.... As articulate as I can be... Sometimes... the yellow canairy comes out and tweets overhead... I get that from my old man....

Just skim this page to see how many other times and places the rainbow flag has been used. I see it's even a Buddhist flag and has been used in a 1960's peace movement.

Those greedy hotheads!

en.wikipedia.org...

Please take a moment to deny ignorance.

Because we encompass the Three F's hunty, Fine Fresh and Fierce, Bam!

The flag used to be eight colours,

hot pink for sexuality,
red for life,
orange for healing,
yellow for sunlight,
green for serenity with nature,
turquoise for magic/art,
indigo for serenity/harmony,
violet for spirit.

as to why exactly the rainbow, one would have to inquire with Gilbert Baker

Sounds to me like your issue isn't with their choice of flag, just how often you are reminded of your own latent homosexual feelings. It's ok bro, give in and let your own flag fly....

They would be greedy pacifists as they are buhdist....

And wow... So everyone is stealing Rainbows.... But the LGBT Takes the Spectrum for what it is... ROYGBIV

Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet.... So your missing Indigo....

In all retrospects this thread was made half as a joke and half as SERIOUSLY WHO TAKE THE WHOLE Color spectrum... But I can see that more than one association has stolen the rainbow....

Work time is over gotta go! And chicago is about to be slammed by a storm... So says Tom Skilling~

Be safe I gotta get home before SHTF~

Peace and Love THY RAINBOW!~

oh cmon, when a man and woman get together that happens. when men do "it", it's only one color.
of course, when women do "it" it's like a super rainbow.

and don't try to call me homophobic because i think man on man sex is gross. I do support equal rights for them, but don't try to tell me it's beautiful.

So, what? I think it's gross too. I think it's gross for 2 women too, and I'm a hetero dude.

But it's beautiful to them just as whatever works for us is beautiful. That's the point. It's called empathizing.

Maybe I can put it in a way you'll understand.

Diff'rent strokes for different folks, eh?

Not to mention it has made me seriously question whether or not that baby (Jonathan Winters) that Mork had with Mindy was really someone else's offspring!

Note the rainbow suspenders!
