This sounds like hearsay, or heresy depending on your stance on the phenomena

Personal Disclosure:
Linda Molten Howl single-handedly ruined the entire segment she was privy to speak at that symposium. Annoying and really dogmatic.
I don't think anyone from researcher to believer, to experiencer, has any damn idea A)What they are B)How many there are.

Even after you've seen an impressive UFO or had a being in your room at night- you still can only speculate as to what the hell is really going on.
