It's going to be a while before that area gets back to any semblence of being 'normal'. Who knows if this cat or amyone who sympathetic to his mission isn't out there now booby-trapping the hell out of a host of locations.

Everyone's going to be on tenterhooks for a while after this plays out.

Person carrying "dark classic trash bag. Abandoned and walked away." Is it garbage pick-up day there?

Technically the military is not allowed to become involved in this type of stuff on American soil. Unless marshal law is declared.

Thats abit dumb as instances like this need the best of the best sent in.

True that.

Still unconstitutional. They shoud have thought about that first. It's not like the feds have the competence already. They could at least have done it not so freaking obvious.
Just my cents...

I've heard on the news that 9.000 people (between police officers, federals, etc.) are after this guy. Is that true? Because, if it is, how can a guy escapes from all this people without being noticed?

Sooooo much better!! Where else do you get up to the minute news, all of it? Love the ATS community. Best out there, for sure!

MSNBC is on a "5 second delay."

Nope we lost that when Posse Comitatus was changed . They may now be deployed in case of a terrorist attack.

I don't like it but that is a fact now.

Plumber in the basement. Lol. Everyone is really uptight.

Odd for a plumber to be working in the area now. Also odd that the home owners were not aware he was there.

Thats one way to get rid of your trash, just leave it out and the police will blow it up for you.

Definite way of throwing the authorities off track . . . send somebody else to another location with bank card or whatever, make a purchase and attract attention away from the fleeing suspect.

When there's a bunch of other people helping him, I'm assuming.

It's obvious they are sifting through every oddity, person, vehicle, garbage bag, in the neighborhood. They told everyone to stay at assigned perimeters. They don't want "curly" slipping through the net.

1878 Posse Comitatus Act is the reason I have always been told they can't

Bit silly as in UK we would have had one of the SAS teams s stationed at home and trained for this come in sweep them off the street suported by special branch. The police would have just been there to secure the area.

Definitely, but what the hell has he got and where is he going with it that is SO important that he slips through the net? Scary thought...
