Could there be a move to impeach Obama coming?

I was just reading that Clapper is giving testimony on Worldwide Threats right now and it reminded me of his statements last month. The link to his statement is below:

Clapper Statement

A quote from the statement:

So let me now be blunt for you and for the American people – Sequestration forces the intelligence community to reduce all intelligence activities and functions without regard to impact on our mission. In my considered judgment as the nation's senior intelligence officer, sequestration jeopardizes our nation's safety and security, and this jeopardy will increase over time.

Now it may or may not be a big stretch to see this a a warning shot that if something happens then Obama will be held accountable.

I wonder if we will see anything come from the political community about this being a direct result of sequester and demanding for actions to be taken against the White House?

No. I don't see it happening.

And even if he were impeached, that would leave us with Biden.
That isn't any better than Obama.

It's just a very sad freak'n mess all around.

Somethings will never happen...like getting Obama out of his dictator chair. It's a pleasant fantasy of mine and many people in the world...but...it won't happen. However, it was nice to imagine it for a second while sippin' on my coffee.

Oh yes. There is a drive to impeach Obama. But first, finish the impeachment of Bill Clinton. It's almost complete.

I can't imagine how F'd up this country would be with Biden behind the wheel. That guy is a loose cannon if there ever was one. Just look at some of his comments since he has been in office. He would turn every single thing into a crisis 10x worse than what a rational level headed person would. Think about the swine flu incident where he stated early on that he told all of his family to avoid public transportation and to stay home and away from public places because it was so deadly and contagious. If he was president and made that statement it would have thrown the public into a panicked frenzy.

Yeah lets all hope that there is no chance that loon gets a chance to get behind the wheel.

There are 500+ other people who are involved in the legislative process folks.
Blaming Obama for the Sequestration is a very big misrepresentation of the process.

Both sides of the aisle are to blame for not doing their jobs.

I am unsure about grounds for this, but if we take the Director of National Intelligence at his word then Sequestration is directly responsible for this. As such how is the government going to be held accountable? And if more attacks occur then what?

Then I guess things will have come 100% full circle since 2001 and we're really back where we started, eh? 2 wars and trillion total spent to make us safer ..supposedly... and some budget cuts make us vulnerable to being steam rolled with new attacks? I'd say we have never actually been any safer then. We've only had the illusion of it and with price tags to bankrupt and ruin the entire nation in the process.

If more attacks come, it's time to do what wasn't done in 2001. *FIRE* the people whose job it is to prevent them. If they can't hack the work they've volunteered to take responsibility for, we need to find people who CAN hack it. Janet's silly nonsense sure as heck hasn't accomplished anything but a paranoid public jumping at shadows.

But besides that...there has been a move to impeach Obama since he took the Oath in 2009...so I am not surprised that someone thinks he should be impeached due to legislation that was passed Constitutionally.

I agree it is a stretch, but what I am getting at is if there will be a move to hold someone accountable and if it will ultimately fall on the White House as far as responsible party. I mean the comments in the document were made 1 month ago, so within 1 month the sequestration broke down our defenses enough to have something like this happen....that is what Clapper seems to be pointing to. So...who can be held accountable for the breakdown?

Can anyone find a link to a transcript of today's testimony? I have been looking but so far can only find comments about the classified doc being read aloud about NK's nuke capability. I would like to see what all was said about the current assessment of threats.

Wasn't it the people who wrote "separation of powers" into the American constitution?
