Here is the second part of the Vaughn-Williams piece you posted, I just got around to listening to it and hadent listened to much if any of his work, but this is majestic and pure splendor, im going to be listening to a lot of his stuff, thanks!



I believe he was very passionate about finding a nation's soul in music ....and that piece of music was said to sum up everything that was English at that time. I don't know whether it's because I read that somewhere that I always imagine rolling English countryside when I listen to it
