Chemically sedated is...physical and real... Comfort is Comfort lol... Of course our system works better. Just look at China and Russia copying our system. They aren't Communist anymore...its just a title.

I'd compare the situation now to that of the British Empire prior to WWII.....Immensely powerful force, spread too thin due to imperial commitments. The one BIG difference being that the vast majority of the British Empire's heavily armed and restive natives lived outside the homeland.

PS - the British Empire's ecomomy was in a much better state too.

It's funny.
I live in Miami. There are homicides, police involved shooting or fatal pedestrian hit and runs on almost a daily basis.
That's not including all the other crimes committed in or around miami-dade county. Threat is very real.
Hell my neighbor across the street was held up at gun point.

When I lived in Hialeah the drug dealer across the street used to either get shot at every few months. Or would end up shooting at people in drug deals gone bad.

So whatever. That guy has no clue.

I think the OP is almost correct, however, I don't think it will be the USA that takes out NK, I think China will remove him before the US of a can do anything, and become the worlds new hero.

Typical American is a slightly overweight person.

Have food is a pretty big tactical advantage. I'd say America has the 1 up on this.

NK can't beat America. As soon as America invades, 90% of the population will feel liberated. They all want western movies, music and internet access. They want food, jobs and to no longer live in fear. I'm sure they're tired of playing pretend ever day.

NK is a push over. America will have the support of the planet, North Korean people will have the mercy of the south and the eyes of China.

Everyone seems to forget that America supplies a good portion of food to China who does not grow enough to feed half their people and Russia who only grows about 75% of their food. The rest of their food (grain that is) is shipped in from the midwest here in America. If America collapses a. these 2 superpowers would suddenly be in a food crunch as they tried to feed the masses without enough food, b. China would never get their money back from America and c. about half of the world would within a week fall into localized civil wars as countries civilians suddenly realized that America could no longer support their countries government. America supports about 2 dozen governments that are not generally liked by their populations. So who would benefit from a world of disarray like this? Russia? China? America? not anytime in the remotely distant future.
