So, I've been sharing the same opinion as yourself, AFewGoodWomen, but didn't want to say it. I am disliking the way many members have been acting/reacting/commenting within threads ie: not adding anything pertinent to the subject or taking things to the extreme. Example: "OHH so you want to the whole country to be totally socialist?! Yeah that won't work!" --- how do replies like this even add to a discussion? - THEY DONT =P

This is why I've been turned off from threads lately... and have not been participating for a bit now..........thanks for bringing this specific example ats>>>glp to light.

It would be sad to have this image of OUR ats. Honest truth GLP is terrible compared to our site (totally anti glp, it's also specific noted in my dislikes column on my profile :-) ...if we turn into them I'm leaving....

"Biologically" is the wrong term here, the term you're looking for is "botanically".

And botanically, a tomato is a fruit.
Culinarily, a tomato can be referred to as a vegetable.
And according to the US Supreme Court, a tomato is a vegetable. See Nix v. Hedden

As for the OP subject? There are several tactics that get under my skin - but the one that probably irks me the most is the "You don't agree? Then stay asleep sheeple. Enjoy your slavery!" one. Such blanket dismissals of all counterpoints only serve to show just how weak a proposition is. The fact that these sorts of statements usually come from exceedingly hyperbolic individuals further erodes any good faith I might be inclined to feel toward their position.

Thinking "If conspiracies are possible - then everything must be a conspiracy!!!" just doesn't make any sense to me.
