So we have people mixing up "facts" and claiming without evidence that 2,700 tanks are going to DHS.

All we have evidence of is that at least one tank is in the hands of DHS, correct

If there truly are 2,700 tanks that is for the DHS, I want to know.

Don't see any evidence that this is the case. Just poor reasoning assuming this must be. Sorry.

Are we being serious here? Do you store RPG's or C4's at home or what?

You would be amazed at American Ingenuity.
Those things can be made from items found in Cabelas, Home Dept and Radio Shack.

Paintball guns to the windows and periscope on the tank. Or a balloon filled with with paint.
A blind tank can't see.

The DHS and police forces of today would by the founding fathers have been considered a standing army* and who are they Standing against? Look in the mirror if you are not in their uniform or a gov worker then you are their enemy.

The Constitution prohibits a standing army- even though the government changes it's name to "Police, DHS, ATF. etc, etc.."

“No State shall, without the Consent of Congress … keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace…” The modern idea that armed(Tanks Guns, tazers, pepper spray and an unlimited amount of backup- think these guys aren't spoiling for a fight?), armored, cops stalk among a disarmed or, at best, minimally armed populace would have sickened the Founders. If they had imagined it they would have immediately abolish both police forces and the laws stripping citizens of their right to defend themselves, or, as the State puts it, to “resist arrest.” and that can be as slight as looking them in the eye.

The Founding Fathers feared a standing army. Police forces as we know them did not curse the world until after the civil war but the FF would have seen it for what it had the potential to become, The FF dealt with British Army units patrolled such restless cities as Boston in the late 1760’s. Among their duties were two that remain pillars of policing today 1- stealing for the State (the Redcoats infesting Boston sniffed out smuggled – ie, untaxed – goods, just as cops today issue traffic tickets and other citations) and quelling resistance by arresting troublemakers and if you are informed enough to know your rights or even worse inform others of what their rights are. then you are just such a troublemaker.

Remember this oath? You have heard it enough even if you haven't taken it yourself.

"I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

The police force (Standing army) is a domestic enemy and as a threat to public safety they far, far, far exceed the likes of Tim McVey, the Unibomber, batman killer, sandy hook etc.
You know why the police force doesn't keep or publish the number of people wounded or killed by interactions with the police? Because the numbers are so damned high!

Here is what others had to say about standing armies.

When a government wishes to deprive its citizens of freedom, and reduce them to slavery, it generally makes use of a standing army." – Luther Martin,

"The objections which have been brought against a standing army, ... may also at last be brought against a standing government. The standing army is only an arm of the standing government. The government itself, which is only the mode which the people have chosen to execute their will, is equally liable to be abused and perverted before the people can act through it."H.D. Thoreau

To hammer my point home if the police were not patterned after an army then why do they adopt military rank? Sargent Lieutenant, Captain, Trooper?

Not quite. There is evidence of two.
There is another thread with a photo of one in a desert paint scheme. Then there is the video of a quite different one.

In the video, the DHS employee or 'operator' speaks of the region that his 'Team' covers (consisting of West Texas and New Mexico) and how they may be called to assist other teams. This indicates that there are other teams, it is possible that the other teams are similarly outfitted, no?

No one has found a record of the DHS having purchased ANY of these MRAP's, so where did the ones that we have evidence of come from???
How do you know how many they have?
I am trying to reason here. I hope that it is not poorly. Do you think maybe it is worth looking into?

It could be possible that the government knows it won't be able to last much longer because of the peoples' growing knowledge of how far this country is in debt, so this could be their final defense. Could it be possible we are looking at a modern version of the "French Revolution"?

The occultic world runs on numbers and symbols.

There are 2700 of them because 27 = 3x3x3 ..... 333 is a hidden (that is what "occultic" means) 666 symbol ("999" is another one).

Check out Mitt Romney's 2012 presidential logo......333 !

It's all over folks..... stop sinning and believe on Jesus. He is the only way out of the coming destruction. He is about ready to close things down for good....Amen, and Amen.

Possibly. When the rich get too rich there needs to be a reset.
Off with their heads. The top 1% needs to go. Sorry Bill Gates and bill gates clones, you are in that group-maybe if you had paid your line workers more and yourself less you wouldn't be in the group headed for the guillotine.

Look, they claim DHS has 16.

Update: An earlier version of this post included a figure of over 2,700 vehicles, as cited from the original RT link. This figure likely comes from a press release from Navistar Defense, mentioning delivery of 2,717 to the U.S. Marine Corps. A DHS Spokesman confirmed with Business Insider that they have only 16 nationwide

Can't believe that people are so blind that they haven't seen everything since 911 was a pretense of things to come and what comes from the Government is mistakenly revealing to the people that " We the people are being warned becuase of 911.
911 was the FEAR tool that got the wealthy 400 families what they always wanted. A complicit populace to their wills of more for them and none for us.
It will eventually be revealed that since the gates to slave labor by way of a Communiat Nation for them that they could take all (meaning industry and good jobs) over there and profit even greater . Yet they needed to act slowly towards what they
truly wish.
All the World for them. And we are their ants laboring in vain for we will have no future with Old and SIck utilizing drugs to dumb us we have THX 1138 almost all amongst us.
What is going on is what you were trashed for.
I see it and have watch since those gates have come down. WAl-MArt represents the results.

I most definitely think it should be looked into.

If the DHS has ... say 2-20 of these vehicles, that would be entirely different than the speculated 2,700. Just trying to get a handle on how serious this is.

North Korea does not have the manpower or infrastructure to invade the US, no matter what Hollywood says. Iran does not have heavy lift vehicles or a navy that could support a mission like that, and frankly, the Russian military has become a Parade Ground force. Only the PRC could attempt an actual invasion of the US.
The DHS is preparing for a war against America.

They can take my guns when they pry them out of my husbands dead hands, noticed I didn't say mine, because I believe it's my husbands job to fight for me and my family LOL! I take it all with a grain of salt, never liked our President, sure didn't vote for him so nothing he does surprises me. To all the Kool Aid drinkers out there, sorry he doesn't have the right flavor that I enjoy and I have issues with a man that doesn't have the experience to run this country being voted in because of his race. And before you start screaming racist, Colin Powell would have been a great president, so there!

There are entirely too many uncertainties with this president for me to trust him with the future of this country. I don't trust him, and I will sleep much better if in 2016 we get someone in power who has a military background and the willingness to fight for the great constitution this land was founded on and not try and make us a socialist country. I earn my living get off your arse and earn your own way like the rest of us!

I have no idea why the mods haven't merged these two discussions. They both are popular and contain the same core?

Wanna get technical? One thread was about bullets being requisitioned and this one is for tanks.

What is THX 1138?

Otherwise your post makes perfect sense to me. It is even more insidious...they are working through Local Agenda 21 in the local towns and cities to implement the UN agenda everywhere like a Trojan Horse where local businesses are drawn in and people think it's all for saving the environment but it's for control of the resources and control over every aspect of our lives.

Speak for yourself.

I was speaking for the majority of the people, including myself. No disrespect to vets or people in the force but paint is the only good idea I see in stopping tanks.

Once you try something they consider "an attack" you're going to get shot, if you're in range to dump paint on tanks or even shoot them with a paintball gun you think they're going to watch you do it?

Before you even get close they'll probably have you in their sights.

Yes you can get supplies from "Cabelas, home depot and radioshack" but did you forget tanks rolling on the street? Shops will probably be looted, internet may be down, so all you have left is existing knowledge on how to take out tanks, or you barricade yourself.
