How could anyone ever been dumb enough to think that was a suitable country for nuclear reactors?

True, unless you are downwind on the BC coast. I had always thought Vancouver Island or one of the Gulf islands would be a great place to live.........not any more.......and that's a real shame.

Well, at least California is in a strike slip zone not capable of anything much larger than an 8 Mag and doesn't have an major offshore subduction fault capable of monster 9+ Mags with the attendant ginormous tsunami's. I'm sure California's nuke plants are rated for EQ's up to 8 Mag's? (sarcasm on).

I do live on the coast in Kits and don't worry if the cooling pool falls apart the government said we'll all be fine nothing to worry about that's over there. Go about your business....

Too bad if anything worse than already happened happens we won't know till they are done lying just like the initial problem. Only much later did we learn what many already knew. Besides all our monitering is in Kamloops now we wont know till its too late LoL

That has been proven false and any size 9 plus is possible. I for one hope the past info holds up to be true that it cant go past a 9 but time will only tell.
