Not a Ron Paul supporter, but its funny how this is a news story and the fact that Romney doesn't want anyone seeing his tax returns isn't.

Tax Returns DOES NOT a PRESIDENT make !!!

It really sickens me that there is all this HYPE over Romney's tax returns, or over Obama's birth certificate, SSN number or his gay lifestyle. Really folks, does it really matter ?

Is it more important that the Economy ? Jobs ? Turning the UsA into a Socialist or Marxist 3rd world country?
Is is more important than bringing our Troops home ?

Give me a break ! Pick your fights, but make damned sure the fight you pick is one you can win.

Can't vouch for Ron Paul... for or against.

Here's an interesting list indeed of Senator sellouts: 45 senators vote to reward job exports

by the way, just for the record.... I'm not thrilled with the opposing party either.

Maybe this is just a case of one person's corruption being another person's liberty/freedom. Maybe this is Ron Paul's way of demonstrating that we should have the liberty/freedom to double charge anyone we choose.

so he's the most corrupt for double billing expenses....

does it add up to the trillions?

I'm surprised no one has pointed out the obvious. If Ron Paul was as corrupt as some people say, then last month's convention would have been all about him. The Romney delegates would have been denied voting rights and there would have been shouts for justice and fairness for Romney. If Ron Paul was as corrupt as some people say, he'd BE the nominee for POTUS this minute.

Well this gives me a more realistic view on Paul cause i never liked seeing him as some kind of saint!
We all know if he is a politician then he is corrupt just like the rest but that's not to say that he does'nt want to do something good! Sometimes I think he is being set up to take over if everything else fails for the elitist! Just like
Alex Jones i believe there is a good possibility that Paul and Jones are both false profits intent to take down our country until there is nothing left! This is why i would never want him as a presidential candidate! Those that are the most unwilling candidates would probably make the most honest politicians! Lets just say I don't trust anyone in the political world just as i don't trust lawyers, bankers, judges and law enforcement! These are all those aspiring to positions of authority more then likely for selfish reasons! Until we take back the power that we granted these individuals we will end up with less and less! This is human nature in full swing! decency is dead and we will all be if we continue on this path!

Unless he is a backup for when their plan failed! In case the people oust romeny as president then Paul can get in and once he is president he can take off his mask! What's the chances on us revolting twice!

More accusations on his Air Travel? This was debunked the last time they tried it and I'm sure it will be again.

abovetopsecret.com

Even if this is true...This makes him "One of the most corrupt in Congress"????

Why don't you look into how many people in Congress have ties to companies that are contracted in Iraq?
Then maybe you'll get more than a few paltry stars & flags for another failed anti-paul thread.

Ron Paul One Of The Most Corrupt Members Of Congress, Report Finds

Link USNEWS

Texas Republican Rep. Ron Paul has been named one of the most corrupt members of Congress in a new report from the watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics.

The report says Paul "double-billed" his travel expenses a number of times over the last decade, meaning he may have been reimbursed for the same flights both under his official allowance as congressman, and by either non-profit groups under his control or his campaign committee.
(visit the link for the full news article)

Ron Paul buys the cheaper non-refundable airline tickets. When his duties prevent him from getting to the airport on time, he has to buy another ticket. That's why there would be double-reimbursement for the same trip. He's more than likely not the only one to do that, it certainly is the overall cheaper way for politicians to travel.
When his frequent flyer status allows him to upgrade free to first class, he will do so, but he doesn't flat out buy first class tickets.

He is the closest to 100% legit Washington DC has ever seen.

Also, even according to CREW he is not one of the most corrupt. He is 3rd from the bottom of their entire list, in the dishonorable mention section.
The most corrupt at the top of their list are two Democrats, Rob Andrews and Tim Bishop (NY and NJ). Way to really tell the story here USNews and OP.

All this report tells you, is that Melanie Sloan & Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington are a for-hire "non profit organisation" that will whore themselves out for buku dolla. Complete sell-outs also include Human Rights Watch and the CIA run Amnesty International. What better way to steer public opinion by getting bunch of NGO's to write the lies for you.

This is actually downright absurd. First off, how on earth would that make someone the most corrupt? That is something that can easily happen on accident especially when you travel that often. Second.. it's not true, why would he do it? Because it is just one of those things that happen when you are a politician traveling constantly.

He isn't even really on the list but OP and the news article took the one tiny thing (that is likely a mistake) and tried to run with it. Sorry, it's b.s. Even if Ron Paul wanted to be corrupt.. he's smarter than that.

This is getting silly. Even in the OP's edited comments, he admitted this 'attack' is false.

The thread has been debunked YET people are still starring, flagging and even posting as if the original accusation still stood.

This is the ignorance of ATS. Sorry people, we just can't change stupid.

oh its worse then that, why doesnt ats put this thread into the hoax bin? it clearly belongs there,

so some people upload some videos of lights in the sky at night and a few people think they are probly chinese lanterns BOOM hoax bin within the hour,

but this proven unfactual lie this thread is based on does not get put there.... why?

cause this thread serves the agenda, this is showing the hand of ownership around here, take it in, realize it.

Individual rights is all he believes in. And before you continue your volcanic explosions of wrong with his stance on states' rights, he believes that individuals should be governed at the state level, not the federal level, which we should be.

Yeah, a congressman that believes in making all drugs legal because the drug war is racist, ending militarism and nation building, and working to help citizens become prosperous is "against individual rights."

Well there ya have it... The bastion of ethics that everyone thought Paul was, has now been formally questioned with evidence supporting the fact that he is NOT what he makes himself out to be.

UPDATE: Yes, this appears to be mostly a hit piece. As pointed out in this thread, the actual report the article is based on doesn't even show him on the list of most corrupt congressmen. ATS wins again!

Too late. Your own credibility is blown. You were so ready to believe this that you didn't even verify things called "facts" and "data" before you gleefully posted this piece of crap.

You want to talk about one of the "most corrupt"? Look at Flock and her other hit pieces. The title of her piece about the current unrest at USNAWR: "How 'Innocence of Muslims' Spread Around the Globe and Killed a US Diplomat." Yes, a video killed a diplomat. Its 1s and 0s infected several hundred Muslims and made them perform atrocities against other human beings! Things they wouldn't normally do because they're usually so docile!

She couldn't be more disingenuous if she tried.

"ATS wins again! hopefully they won't see past my false compliment...

All the while he's saying "AUDIT THE FED!" He's also saying "... so you don't audit me instead!"

Ron Paul is a southern bible belt Baptist - - who is against individual rights.

He is no different then the REP extreme Right. Except how he packages his political beliefs.

People need to look closer. He's a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Are you talking about yourself? If you looked closer, you'd realize Ron Paul is for individual liberties.

Ron Paul doesn't package anything, you have a chance to look at his entire history. Pure idealogical consistency, almost no other politician can say the same for themselves. He is no doubt a Lutheran Christian and does nothing to hide it, however, his oath to the constitution does not allow for conflict of interest.

The only wolf in sheep's clothing here may be YOU, trying to lie and deter people from the truth as if it were some secret knowledge that you uncovered.

I love how women think they're FREE and have RIGHTS if the government allows them to kill babies on a whim. But if the government takes the children away, its ok because society is trying to help. Its also ok if the government says we need to kill 'domestic terrorists' and 'foreign terrorists' at their own whim to secure our safety.

According to women who try to argue that they should 'have control over their own body' to justify abortions, it is no different than 'we should ONLY have rights when and if it benefits our social needs'.
