Come on WeRpeons i said serious peer reviewed scientific analysis not a blog with a page entitled 'scientific analysis'
. When you get real strange phenomenon happening in the world then proper teams of real scientists go and make studies and publish their findings in peer reviewed literature.

as for the 'what profit?' comment you should check out Lucy Pringles site for merchandise and check out how much she charges for lectures etc. She is on amongst many who make a living trying to promote an alien / supernatural agenda with crop circles.

I've seen this picture quite a bit on here--what study does it come from?

Yes, but Lucy Pringle isn't really a researcher, just a promulgator of crop circle info. Big deal.

As for the picture: Phage answered that in this post here:

Actually if you read the page in questions they dont know HOW its done. Did you read the page or are you just regurgitating what other people post?

Oh believe me she thinks shes a researcher , author and lecturer..and with that so do many other people. Its people like her that create the myths.

Someone asked for the information (and as indicated had missed the post).

I responded since I remembered the post.

I did not say whether or not I agreed with it, or said it answered anything (other than "where did the picture come from". ).

Now, did you have anything further to add in your rather rude, and misdirected attempt at being hostile towards people?

Granted some myths may be created, some researchers not great ones. No way all of them. Lucy Pringle is just one person. When I use the word researcher, I mean it in a strict scientific sense. They exist. Besides, Lucy doesn't create myths out of the research, but more or less out of the interpretations of the circles, and she makes money from her site. If I had a chance to make money on something that interested me, I'd do it too. I really don't think making money discredits anyone, necessarily.

For the ones saying all crop circles are man made??? Um... Thats an OPINION, not a fact.

No its a fact , there is a whole weight of evidence that shows crop circles are man made but I have seen no such evidence that they are created by ET .

Here is just one piece from the makers themselves

hey don't discriminate against the sylphs!

that's speciest

Again with the childish debating techniques

to quote phage from the beginning of this thread

"you just debunked yourself" re this being a debating forum [as you replied earlier]

debating IS NOT a valid instrument for perceiving or ascertaining the truth

this isn't about who has a greater vocabulary, snappy comebacks, or expertise at Sophistry.

proof: debating is a subforum here not the point of this site.

i'll agree that debating is childish though

Show me serious scientific peer reviewed research that backs up your claims.

hahaha, was waiting for the 'scientific peer review' card to be pulled. Only took 15 pages, but heh it is a crop circle thread

No you really mean that the child that scribbled that red line in that photo failed to make a straight line or circle.

Happy to be corrected, but the pic actually came from another poster who originally did not post a source.

Phage apparently did a search, found one page where it was featured and posted a reply, which prompted the original poster of the image to state it did not come from that website.

Another poster then displayed a google screenshot with 40+ other pages with the same pic.

I don't recall the original poster clarifying beyond that.

This is the worst crop circle I've ever seen, seriously. It's...well it's crop (forgive the rubbish pun).

I've seen some really pretty crop circles, this one is hideous, poorly done. If it's man made, fair enough. If, as some have suggested - it's the work of aliens...then I despair. They are capable of interstellar travel - able to "fold" space, but they can't make a crop circle that's as aesthetically pleasing as some of the proven, man made ones? Come on....

Anyway, why exactly does this particular circle point to august 4th?
