This is the first time this has happened to me. My account logged off all on it's own. I logged back on and it did it again.
I changed my password and hope that stops it.
Has this happened to anyone else? Could it be someone hacking my account or something?
It has me a bit concerned

Thanks

It's probably a cookie setting on your computer.

Sometimes when they change something, like the homepage, it can log you out. I've had it happen a few times now, and each time it's been because of something that has changed on the site.

Thanks!! I just deleted my cookies

When I logged back on, the home page did change, so that very well could be what it was

Thanks to both of you!

Don't know about here, but every place I have been involved in that has logins, it's impossible for a second person to log into your account while you are still logged in yourself.

I'm not sure about ATS.

But that's not true on many other websites.

That might explain why it always shows so many online. Nobody logs off!

It happens to me now and then, I just log back in.

I can only speak for the sites I was a mod, supermod or admin. Only 10 sites in all. I just kind of assumed most had it set up that way, as it would make a lot of sense.

If I don't log off, that's one less password to try to store in my tired old brain!

I've never been logged off but a lot of times I notice in the bottom of my avatar, it will say:

Member was on ATS

I can still continue to post when I see this but its really weird. Its always at 5 minutes too. I just laugh it off. Probably just a harmless bug.

Unless its a sign I've slipped into an alternate time-stream again.

Which side of Australia is New Zealand on this week?

Hmmmmnnn....
