Note, Allah gives Muhammad's men permission to rape women taken captive in battle.

Actually the Aboriginals in Tasmania were killed off by disease, but they didn't all die out they are still alive today.

Nice post I guess...I have no issue with faith. But I have issues with how women are treated in the muslim world. Now you may think somehow it is "respect" you're gaining by wearing hijab or burqa, but it's only fueling the downgrading of woman in the muslim society. You are slaves to men. You must act the way they want you to, talk when spoken to, wear a excessive clothing because otherwise...they wouldn't be able to control themselves. This is why you wear it. And if you are not wearing it....you could be a whore. You may not have to live such a life in the west, being a muslim, but if you were "back home"? From wherever your ancestors came from...

Through centuries women have been brought up this way from childhood. It is not your choice as you say it...it is ingrained within you by growing up in that society. You are made 2nd grade citizens from the get go. It is all justified by "god said so".
