Hi.

Did anybody tried to built one of these levitation devices:

EDIT: GOOGLE ''HOMEMADE LEVITATION DEVICES'' AND CLICK ON ''VIDEO''.

I am asking 'cause I lack the money and materials to try it.

So, I am asking, is there anybody who tried... or care to try? If we ATSers succeed in producing those levitating devices, we could show off our superior knowledge...

I am awaiting your results.

Well, I thought so.
But in that case, try Googleling ''homemade levitation devices'' and click ''video''. What about them? they can't all be fakes, too?...
And no, I don't have these magnets in our house. Just some useless ones.

totally looks faked.

not an expert just know stuff when i see it (PHD)

Is the board under the saucer magnetic? Of course it would be more practical if the levitating device could take off anywhere, not just on magnetic boards...
Cool desing, by the way. I love it.

You can tell that to the person that made it.

You can find the thread here: www.abovetopsecret.com...

All right, thank you.
Anything else? Did someone checked this Google results?

Can you post a few examples of what you mean. I get exactly the type of magnet-above-board type vids I presented earlier when I google "HOMEMADE LEVITATION DEVICES". It's not clear to me what type of levitation device you seek.

I believe Google results are not absolute, but generated by user history and maybe even base country.

Anything that could do the job:

Accoustic levitation
Zero-point levitation
electromagnetic levitation...

Just add ''homemade'' and ''device'' to your Google search and you got it. Surely someone came across those and tried (or could try) them out?

You mean like this or this or perhaps this on superconducting levitation?

Edit - I have actually built the first 2 mentioned above, They work well... After a little tinkering!

Hi, Anon77, I am glad to see you again.
So, you say the magnetic levitation device worked? Could it be made bigger to support a man?
Great find. Star.
Do you hear about accoustic levitation?

I think any method other than the popular super magnet or regular magnet suspension,
when accomplished, is never claimed by reason there are professionals that are
working on that closely held secret. Well other than jet or rocket now days and the
magnetic demonstrations nothing much is shown to the public.

Hi Swan001, Ditto mate.

They did work after some messing about, They could definitely be made large enough to support a man. They are already manufactured large enough to support a train (although the train magnetic coils are superconducting). Don't forget they already use magnetic levitation for the MagLev trains.

I have heard of acoustic levitation before, but it's a bit limited in usefulness. I think there are no theoretical limits on it's use but as far as I know it's only capable of lifting a few KG's maximum.

Have also seen laser propulsion/levitation before. Take a look at this.

The only levitation that works at present that out does jets or rockets is
one that captures the forces of nature that scientists had worked on since
Newton. That levitation method is in the free energy saucers or UFOs and
is a very well held secret.

Impressive!

I heard about laser levitation but never actually saw one. Thanks!
