From the way things are expanding out of control in the ever ending battle those who want the power keep passing all these power grabbing laws. Also growing the government bigger and bigger, from hiring more IRS agents, to help enforce Obamacare and the Independent Panel Advisory Board to go along with Obamacare when it's fully operational, I would've thought Washington didn't need any more "wild" ideas. Apparently they don't think so.
Left or Right it doesn't seem to matter what side your on anymore as they both have their own agenda and its not about working for you or me. This is why I've come to be a political agnostic. I don't think we can be fixed until we set term limits for these people, no more career politicians on either side The longer they are there the more they igure out a way around the system.. Be interested to know your opinion.

This doesn't surprise me at all, especially considering the Bush family were supporters of the real Nazis before, during, and likely after WWII.

Link

The debate over Prescott Bush's behaviour has been bubbling under the surface for some time. There has been a steady internet chatter about the "Bush/Nazi" connection, much of it inaccurate and unfair. But the new documents, many of which were only declassified last year, show that even after America had entered the war and when there was already significant information about the Nazis' plans and policies, he worked for and profited from companies closely involved with the very German businesses that financed Hitler's rise to power. It has also been suggested that the money he made from these dealings helped to establish the Bush family fortune and set up its political dynasty.

The Nazis never went anywhere. They were merely assimilated into American programs under "paper-clip." It was only a matter of time before they tried to establish themselves into a true (ie> open) position of power.

Neo-nazis are enjoying some sort of revival lately. FOX "News" has called them a civil rights group in Florida.

The Fox reporter introduced the group by saying, “There’s another civil rights group in town.” She also conducts an interview with the group’s leader, Jeff Schoep, without challenging any of his claims about the nature and mission of the group.

Thanks for fixing my link.

I agree with you there are many wolves disguised as sheep. I, of course, have heard about the early Bush family being involved with the Nazis. Nothing really surprises me yet about what ideas these people are capable of coming up with. The desire for greed and power are the ultimate culprits unfortunately.

Well I guess they have the same right to try and bribe politicians just like everyone else.

I think people should be complaining about "Lobbyists" (bribery) in general.

Not specific ones they don't agree with.

Oh, you need not worry, I do have a bone to pick with the other lobbyists as well. None of them are doing the country any good, either, as far as I know.

This was the first I heard of the American Nazis being so open about it, though.

Are you implying that this is a "wild" idea -- to actually honor the Constitution and not disparage another for their political beliefs and make no effort to impair their participation in the free exchange of ideas? The gall!

If so, that is a wildly dangerous idea only to one entity -- the State. It would be "wild" if only the State decided which political group and/or persons are allowed to petition their Government.

Here I am a little lost because you are not even talking about the your title subject anymore.

There are term "limits" -- its just that people prefer not to utilize them. Congress and the Senate are not seated for life and are subject to obtaining their constituents votes when their term is up. Of course, no one wants to bother say that it is the problem that has fallen heavily upon the People for allowing corrupt, disingenuous, shady; among other qualities, to keep such persons in power.

Typically the scenario goes like this:

Congress is overwhelmingly disapproved of by the People -- but ask individuals about their Representative (Congressman/woman or Senator) and they will most likely tell you that it isn't their Representative that is the problem. It is the one in that other district!

Or when it comes to light that all the goodies that their Representative has been bringing home to the People in the name of representation will be lost -- motivates people to keep voting such people back into power.

I don't agree with the man nor care for his politics but I damn well will stand up for his right, as protected under the First Amendment, to petition and lobby his Government for grievances.

You should take that show on the road but I fear it isn't that funny nor clever. But I guess you don't want to even try to think about the issue and attempt to engage in the discussion:

Tell me Zroth, should the Government deny this man his Right to petition his Government based upon his standing and political views?
