I will be grabbing some more sources to add shortly... This seems fresh off the press.

Please stand by for more details.

If this turns true, this will surely be some of the biggest news the world has seen in a while. I have no idea how this will impact other nations and their relationships or view of NK, but it will be interesting.

It's just a matter of time until his son feels the need to prove himself.

The BBC are now reporting this too.

Kim Jong Un is due to take power now that KJI is dead, but there were many who feared that the military would take power instead, seeing him as a weak leader and seizing the opportunity during transition.

Personally, I don't think it makes a whole lot of difference. We probably won't hear anything else for a while on this. Maybe they'll have some ridiculous ceremony to install his son, maybe not.

Unless KJU makes noises about dealing with the outside world more than his father does (sorry, "did" lol), I don't see any other nation trying to change anything. They locked themselves away, and until the NK people rise up against their dictators nothing is likely to change in the country.

Seeing how brainwashed most of the NK people are, I don't think we'll ever see anything change with them in our lifetimes.

I really dont see any major changes in the future of North Korea, They could either stay the same and caution them selves from the rest of the world or become more aggressive towards it, or maybe re-think whats best for their future and do the right thing
